Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your support for part disposal of Fixed Assets in Xero. Being transparent - current work for the team requires focus on upgrades to Fixed Asset technology.
However, we’re thinking of what comes next and partial disposal of an asset figures strongly in this. Please continue to detail your particular use cases here in Product Ideas.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero insights from Product Ideas here will feed into the team's plans.Angie Garner supported this idea ·

Hi everyone, understand the confusion in some of the recent comments here. To explain how this works at present - A report will automatically default to portrait or landscape mode based on the width of the report. The more columns you add, Xero will automatically switch the layout from portrait to landscape mode.
The same report should not change from user to user, if you're finding this it may be worth checking your printer fit settings and if these differ.
We don't have plans for developing an option of whether a report prints in landscape or portrait mode atm, but our teams are across the interest of this, so if there's any change we'll share an update on this with you, here.

Hey community - just popping back in to re-open this idea 😊
Our previous update confirmed this was possible for users in Australia, however the bulk of this group is based in the UK, where this feature is not available.
As such, we'll be shifting this back to 'Submitted' to continue to collect votes around this feature in a UK Tax context.
Thanks again to everyone that's shared their vote and added their commentary in the meantime!

This is already in place in some other tax software and is a great time saver.

Hi everyone, as Charlotte has mentioned below, this is not a feature we are currently planning to introduce due to other commitments. However, we will continue to monitor this ticket.
In the meantime, as a workaround, the adjustment can be manually entered in both the self employment and partnership schedule.

This should be an option on all reports. Portrait reports are often too lengthy and data can be viewed much more easily in a landscape format.
