   Hi everyone, further to our last post I wanted to provide another update for our US customers as we now have a bill payments solution powered by Melio! Xero has acquired Melio, a leading US bill pay platform designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, and accountants and bookkeepers in the US. While we value our partnership with BILL, we decided that acquiring Melio was the right strategic move to accelerate our ability to provide a seamless, integrated payments solution within Xero for our US customers. Powered by Melio, you can securely pay bills online, directly from Xero.

   As previously shared in the UK customers can now pay overseas suppliers easier with international bill payments, saving the need to use multiple platforms and savings in fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once.

   We’re committed to finding new ways to expand our bill payments capability to small businesses and their advisors in more regions by leveraging new technologies, where available and will keep sharing news on this with you all through this idea! Thanks 😊

   I'm experimenting with make.com I use revolut to bank.

   Currently you can only create draft payments using make.com but it's better than nothing.

   Thanks for your feedback, everyone. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the needs you've expressed about how auto linking recurring invoices to projects would save time, and give you more insights into project profitability.

   The primary way to link repeating invoice line items to a project is to manually assign them to the project once the invoice has been generated, though we know you're looking for ways to streamline this process.

   We've carefully reviewed all your comments and the strong desire for this functionality, however after much consideration, we've decided that we won't be developing the ability to assign repeating invoices to projects in the foreseeable future.

   We understand this news might be disappointing, especially for those who've been vocal about this need for some time. Decisions like these are always tough. We have to balance a wide range of requests and development priorities across all aspects of Xero to deliver the most impact for our global customer base.

   Would really like this to help with retainer projects where the client is always paying a fixed fee each month.
