Hi everyone, while we still have more changes planned in this space I wanted to fill you in on the more recent changes in this space.
We have now added the ability to view the email an invoice was sent to in history, as well as adding timestamps for more insight into when an event was made.

HI team, appreciate not directly within the Customer statement at present and being open we don't have immediate change planned for adding this to the customer statement. However, for the time being you could look to run the Customer Invoice Activity report which has a few more options for the columns and detail shown.
Once you've set up as you like you could save as Custom to make this readily available in your org and export to share externally with a customer/client.

I agree - clients only want to see 1 report showing there full activity. Why would you provide 2 statements? Creates a lot of extra work for no reason for all parties involved.

This is again an expected basic function of a financial system which is not included in Xero, a functionality my clients and my practice require.

Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…Luke Rawsthorn supported this idea ·

It is absolutely apparent that Xero has been developed and continues to be developed for business owners that do not know what they are doing regarding finance and accounting. When professionals ask for the most basic and required functionalities expected of a financial system, we are given a watery, unknowledgeable and pathetic response. Get your basics right, Xero!

Branding is an important part of the practice. Attention to detail is one of the core competencies of our business and having a lack-lustre statement template does not show positively for branding purposes and projects an image of unprofessionalism.

Provide detailed changes to invoices and bills after approval such as date changes, client / vendor, invoice value, line item value, tax values, description.
