    I agree with Cherron. I have no idea why Xero got rid of this function with the new report update. I am having to rebuild the P&L customized statement it is frustrating this drill down capability function is not available.. We have multiple revenue and expense categories for each division and it would be a mess to see detailed transactions whenever you click on categories without filtering option.

    Appreciate the interest here, everyone. Being open this isn't something we have current plans for. 


    Thanks for noting the optional paths atm, Paula! Understand it's not the solution being asked here however for those that haven't already we'd recommend looking to connect Hubdoc to help automate the process. 🙂

    Does Xero actually ever listen and implement a change? I don't think there has been a solution to a ticket I have submitted for an issue

    Hi everyone, we appreciate all your feedback on how we could evolve roles for customers using Xero. As you can see through the ideas on the platform, there are a wide range of combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. As user roles impact all areas of the product, there are many considerations we must factor in when assessing how to solve for majority of our customers needs.
    We’re beginning to conduct research on the current landscape and how we might approach some of the most predominant needs in roles for our customers. Front footing this, the discovery of this work will be long winded and there will be multiple phases of research and forms of engagement with users that’ll help shape the path ahead in this space.
    We’d like to invite you, our community to be part of this research and discovery. This may involve interviews…

    I stumbled onto this issue after finding out that one of the admin person from a different company division was creating an account in general ledger as it fits in Chart of Account.. There is no option to give limited access to a standard Xero user account it's either give them full access or none..

    When will this issue be resolved !

    We appreciate the interest gathered on this idea, everyone. At this time we don't have any immediate changes planned for lock dates, but as we continue to develop parts of Xero this is something we'll consider as a possible enhancement for lock dates. If there's any news I'll be sure to update you here.
