Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your thoughts and voting on this idea. While we recognise that an import tool for leave requests would be helpful, building a traditional import feature is unlikely to be something we develop in the near future.
However, as we continue to expand and develop AI capabilities across Xero, exploring ways to streamline and automate data entry, like leave requests, is something we may look into down the line.
We appreciate your patience and input here as we work to make Xero smarter and more efficient. We’ll be sure to update this thread if plans progress in this space!

Hi community, we acknowledge the strong feelings in this idea and why you need a feature to flag bills directly within Xero. We really appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this would help streamline your accounts payable.
We are dedicated to providing a solution for this over the longer term, but this will take some time requiring changes that sit beneath the face of bills.
In lieu of a direct feature for this we wanted to highlight some of the options discussed by the community here:
- Add a note to the bill: A detailed note on the bill itself can serve as a clear internal reminder of the dispute.
- Utilise tracking categories: Creating a specific tracking category like "Disputed Bills" can help you filter and report on these items.
- Adjust the due date: Temporarily extending the due date can prevent accidental payment while the dispute is…

As we continue to expand and develop AI capabilities across Xero, exploring ways to streamline and automate data entry, like leave requests, is something we may look into down the line. While this isn't on our immediate roadmap, hearing your specific use cases helps us gauge demand.

It would be great if we could do a bulk add in leave requests for RDO's - I have 130 employees I have to manually enter their RDO's for each person individually each fortnight. This is super time consuming. I would love to be able to select the date and tick the employees who had an RDO.
