This is critical for security reasons, as there is currently nothing to prevent a user from editing the invoice templates to add fake bank details, and no audit trail to indicate who the templates have been edited by.

Hey everyone, we've been following the conversation closely and we want to acknowledge how important this is for many of you.

Atm, we’re on a long journey to provide more controls within Xero features that our customers need. Being such a broad idea that touches many areas of our platform, we’d like to encourage adding your votes to specific user permissions that matter most to you, such as:

We need to be able to restrict the users who can make changes to the branding themes (invoice templates). If users are not authorised to update supplier bank details, then they should not be authorised to add/edit bank details on the .docx templates either. This represents an unacceptable risk, as incorrect bank details could be added, leading to customer payments being diverted.

Furthermore, there is no audit trail of changes to the templates, so a user could temporarily change them and then reinstate the originals without leaving any trace.

Thanks for sharing and engaging with product ideas here. We appreciate the desire to run more reports in Xero in a different currency.

To confirm what is currently available in Xero for multi currency reporting - Right now the aged reports will run in the organisation's base currency. However, for any invoice or bill that has been created in a foreign currency you'll see an icon next to that line in your report which provides notation of the exchange rate details, and these will all be listed at the bottom of the report.

With the Payable and Receivable summary and detail reports you can add an 'Original currency' column along with other foreign exchange details.

It's also possible to add a filter to these reports to only show invoices of a particular status for example Awaiting payment.

I know this doesn't accomplish all that's being asked in this idea and…

I see this is done now, thank you!

The old Supplier Invoice Report which is due to be turned off in July displayed the totals for the gross and outstanding balance columns in the original currency. This doesn't appear to be possible in the new version of the report, even when it is grouped or filtered by original currency so that items with the same currency appear together.

Can this be added before July please, or failing that, keep the old version of the report in place until it has been done?
