    We really value the contributions and support this idea has received from the community here - Thanks everyone. 

    While we've evaluated and fully get why you'd like more visibility of your employees unpaid leave, we want to be transparent that atm leave reporting isn't in the roadmap for the near term. You can see some of the recent development for the AU Payroll space on The Long and Short Of It.  

    For the time being you could add a few filters within the Leave Requests report, and then export to a spreadsheet to gather the unpaid leave data you need.

    We know this will be disappointing news, but we really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Though we have updated the status to Not in pipeline members can continue to add votes here and we'll keep tracking the trend for future considerations. Thanks

    Bring back the option to filter the Leave Request report by Unpaid Leave types!

    Hi Community! Thanks for your active and on-going participation in this idea. The volume of comments and votes highlights how important more granular user permissions are for managing your payroll processes effectively.

    Improving user permissions and providing greater control over sensitive data is a key area of focus for us. While we have no specific feature to announce today, your feedback is critical in shaping the future of this part of Xero.

    Because of the clear need you've all highlighted and our desire to investigate this further, we're moving this idea's status to In Discovery.

    During the discovery phase, our product team will be digging deeper into the core problems you’ve raised.

    We appreciate your patience as we explore this. We'll be sure to update this thread when we have more to share. Thank you again for helping us understand what matters most to you.

    There is only one option for Payroll user permissions - all or nothing.

    It would be great to have more granular permissions, eg. view payroll, timesheet / leave request approver, full payroll admin.

    Our specific issue is that all users with payroll access permissions appears in the list of approvers for timesheets / leave requests. We want to be more specific about which payroll users in that list of approvers.
