We understand that the ability to easily remind employees to fill out timesheets would make things easier and save you time.

This is a really basic and essential feature to add. I dont know why its not already in built! It would reduce time wasted chasing up staff who havent submitted their timesheets in time for the pay run to occur. Ideally the system would only send reminders / push notifications / email when an employee has not yet submitted their timesheets by the end of their allocated payrun period.

This would seem like pretty basic feature which would assist both payroll and employees in getting pay done efficiently and on time.

Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback on the idea here. Being open we don't have any immediate work planned for this.
However, I also wanted to highlight with differing needs and regulation our payroll products are developed separately for region specifically. We try to keep the ideas regionally separated in community here as it helps when feeding back to the team and also in keeping customers updated.
That said we have a separate idea for this similar feature in AU Payroll and I've added any voters from AU to that idea to keep updated there.

Hi everyone, we're doing some research on managing employees, particularly looking at our customer's experiences onboarding new hires and setting them up in payroll.
We'd love to get input from our community here that we know have a vested interest, and we'd really appreciate your time.

Hi community, thanks for all your discussion and votes on this idea. We can see the appetite in being able to project future leave balances in AU Payroll. We understand that you're looking for an easier way to see an employee's accrued leave for a future date, which would make planning for things like company shutdowns and approving leave requests simpler.
Our product team has taken a look at this suggestion, however building this functionality isn't on our foreseeable roadmap. For that reason, we'll be changing the status of this idea to ‘Not in Pipeline’. The idea will remain open for votes, so we can continue to gauge interest when we next review our priorities for payroll.
As some have shared - exporting and combining reports outside of Xero is one way to get the information you need, although we understand its not the solution you'd like here.

Hey everyone, thanks for all your feedback on displaying leave balances in days on payslips. We recognise that many of you are keen to see this feature.
Our product team has reviewed this suggestion. While we understand the value it'd bring, it isn't on our foreseeable roadmap. As a result, we're updating the status of this idea to 'Not in Pipeline'.

Hey Community, thanks for all the support shown for this idea. We understand that the core of this request is for business owners and payroll admins to be able to view, edit and complete draft timesheets.
Our product teams have carefully considered this, however we want to be upfront that developing this capability isn't on our foreseeable roadmap at this time.
The idea will remain open for votes so we can continue to gauge interest, as it will be important for when we next review our payroll priorities. Thanks again for sharing with us here, we really do value your input.

Hey everyone 👋thanks so much for your ongoing feedback and commitment to supporting this idea.
We understand the need for a straightforward process to download all payslips at once, particularly for WorkCover claims or employee requests where multiple payslips are required. We’re excited to let you know that our product team is now actively working on a solution to allow bulk downloading of payslips.
In the meantime, you can use the Payroll Activity Details report to get a detailed breakdown of each payslip. It's also worth noting that employees can access and download their own payslips directly through the Xero Me portal.

This would be great. We are obligated to keep time records for our employees but cant seem to do this on Xero because the timesheet interacts with the pay run. I have tried just leaving the timesheet in draft and processing the pay run but ive read that down the track this can create issues if you need to change the pay period for an employee as you would need to delete all the draft timesheets. Im not sure if you can approve the timesheet after filing the payrun though?
