I need Excel reports for DRAFT payruns.

In order to work through my balance sheets recs, get approval from senior management and to run my monthly reporting vs budget, I need payroll data from the DRAFT payrun in Excel format.

All that is currently available is the Payroll Details report in PDF (hopeless as even with Adobe conversion to Excel, it comes out as a total mess) or I have to wait until I have posted the payroll with HMRC and made it available to employees through Xero Me, at that point I can use the Gross To Net report.

Please Xero, make the payroll details report available in Excel (ideal) or, failing that, allow me to run a Gross to Net report for a draft payrun. Thanks

Agree with the poster - this is such a basic requirement. How can a user change their Date of Birth (which never changes) but not their address (which can regularly change) ??

This seems like such a basic request! Opening leave balance, leave taken, remaining balance, by employee. Or at the very least, a list of who has taken what leave and when in Excel format so we can report on it separately.

Hi everyone, thanks for your ongoing interest and support for this idea!

We understand the needs surrounding being able to adjust the dates for your leave year, whether that be to shadow the UK tax year or otherwise.

Our product team are excited to share that this is an area we are currently looking into developing.

Your feedback and ideas are extremely important to us. As such, we’d like to reach out to our valued community members to get involved in prototype testing, commencing later this month.

The testing will involve using a prototype tool to assess the usability and functionality of our proposed changes to a customisable leave year. We would encourage users that feel strongly about the lack of this function to sign up and welcome users of all experience levels.

Given the popularity of this idea we expect spaces to fill up fast. We will close the…

You should be able to set the holiday year at any date required. Fixing to Jan 1st makes no sense to I suspect 99% of British employers!

I also agree with the other idea regarding holiday s in days (how is an employee supposed to understand what 4.6389 hours means?).

Regarding holidays for PT employees - I use the 12.07% calculation to accrue but also have to manually adjust the hours actually booked off. It would be useful to have a working week with days and hours per day available.
