UK Payroll - Leave Balances Report
Create the report "Leave Balances". This report is available in the AUS version of Xero and is useful when calculating annual leave expense

We have stopped using Xero Leave because of weaknesses like this (including the challenge of managing leave in hours - which is meaningless to employees) - and we now have to pay for a separate system.

This report should be available in the UK as a priority - it takes one of our Finance staff hours to go through each employee's leave record and enter it onto a spreadsheet which seems ridiculous when the report is available in other versions of the software.

Weird this is not available in the UK. I am not a coder, but sure if it exist for Australia and New Zealand, the basic infrastructure should be there and simple to implement.
This is the first client with a decent size payroll that uses Xero for payroll and the functionality is lacking, I find. It is this sort of oversight that is so frustrating. Why would it not be included? It does not seem to be worth the premium charged.

I would also value this report and I am surprised it is not available. We need to be able to calculate the leave taken for any employee each year, to work out roll-over balances.

Critical for monitoring staff safety and well being.
Should value add to business accumen.
Should come as a table with Column 1 being staff name and the other columns being different types of leave with totals at the bottom
should be abel to be set up as automatic 3 or 6 monthly email of reportWhen can we expect this to be available ? Looks like it was first requested nearly 14 months ago

It will be most helpful to be able to download a report with the following information: Opening leave balance, leave taken, and remaining balance, by an employee. And we should be able to customize dates. I'm referring specifically to the UK.

It seems a basic functionality for line managers and/or payroll admins to be able to view their employees remaining leave allowances. If this isn't sorted soon, we'll have to revert back to our previous system as staff are unhappy.
