Thanks for keeping the conversation going on this, everyone. It's clear that having the ability to create budgets for Balance Sheet accounts is a really popular idea, and we hear the manual workflows you're having to use when it comes to forecasting.
The go-to option for now (as shared by some in this idea) is to export your data into a spreadsheet to build out your budgeted Balance Sheet and cash flow forecasts.
I know it's not the outcome you're hoping for here, but we want to be upfront about where things stand. Right now, building this feature isn't in our plans. We have to make some tough calls on what to build next, and while this isn't on the current roadmap, the feedback you've all shared here is incredibly valuable for our future planning.

Hi everyone, we get how a 'pause' button would help when juggling multiple tasks, and avoid the need to stop and restart the timer. We want to be honest that there aren't any plans for developing a pause option within XPM. Our teams focus for the time being is on development of the unified practice experience that'll soon be released with the Xero Partner Hub. You can read more on this through our website.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate how IT upgrades are more work than we ever anticipate as non-IT people, but there used to be a pause button in here years ago, god knows why it got removed. It really is an integral part of a timesheet system, which accountants use all the time. It's not a request, it's a true necessity and I really hope you'll get this up the list. This is the point of having these ideas voted on, to see the popularity. This clearly is urgently needed.

Being able to add a quick pop up note (similar to in excel) on a job in the All Jobs area of XPM would be fantastic. So you can quickly write something like 'Waiting on home office' or 'Waiting on ANZ PIE income to file' or something similar - a quick easy way to figure out where the job is at but a bit more detailed that the 'status'.
