Hi everyone, we've been following your comments and recognise that having a streamlined way to get timesheets from a spreadsheet into Xero Payroll would be a huge time saver.

One option is to explore some of the connected time-tracking apps in the Xero App Store. While we know this isn't a perfect substitute for a direct import feature, it may help bridge the gap in the meantime.

The good news is that we see the value this feature would provide and we want to explore it further. We'll change the status of this idea to Accepted and will let you know if there is any movement on this.

Xero really needs an import feature for Payroll. We don't use timesheets, so have to manually enter all the pay item information manually from a spreadsheet.

This seems so obvious I feel like I'm missing something?

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing how important it is for your business to have monthly salaried employees complete timesheets for tracking and reporting purposes, without impacting pay run calculations.

Some of you have found workarounds like approving timesheets after processing pay runs, although this may create challenges down the line.

Our product team is currently undertaking a wider review of timesheets, and this idea will be included in that process. Therefore we're updating this idea to Accepted. We'll keep you updated if there are any developments on this.

Hi Matthew, stumbled across your suggestion.....in exactly the same boat! We ended up removing the integration and manually adding overtime....frustrating!

Hi community, thank you for continuing to support and engage us with about your needs in flexible ways of making payments with Xero.

As noted in my last update, we have our bill payments solution with Crezco that offers the ability to schedule a future date of payment.

Similarly, we now have US bill payments with Melio that encompasses the ability to schedule a payment to be made on a specific date.

We are continuing to expand on our bill payments agnostic solutions and I'll keep you updated here of other regions this functionality becomes available.

This is a critical feature.....banks charge extortionate fees for same day payments so using the direct transfer feature is currently unviable. Crezco offers scheduled payments as part of its open banking so not sure why it's not possible in Xero.

Scheduled payments is a vital part of business banking surely?!
