    Hi team, thank you for showing your support in this idea. While this has been reviewed and looked into at present the work we are developing will not extend to start and end timesheets.

    This is something we'll continue to consider closely as the team keep planning their roadmaps and we'll make sure to share if there are updates surrounding this, here.

    This needs to be introduced, asap, with all the payroll obligations, and ongoing changes to awards and payrates, and increases, staff need to be able to select the appropriate pay item for the days they work. I have a client who does want the ongoing costs associated with using another timesheet program, when xero can do what she needs - this part just needs to be turned on - select pay item when they are on the enter time not hours in xero me. This is ridiculous and seems to be an easy fix. We pay a lot for payroll in xero, but cant get it to do the basics? I dont undertand. When will this be looked at again?

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on Schedule 5 calculations for commissions and bonuses. We appreciate you explaining how important this is for commission-based industries where commission is often the primary income.

    Currently Xero payroll requires regular earnings to calculate Schedule 5 tax. We understand the current setup requires manual workarounds when employees have commission-only income.

    Our product team has reviewed this idea and moved it to Accepted so it can be formally considered in future planning cycles. We'll keep you updated as things progress.
