    This is critical at the invoice / credit note / open item level on both AR and AP that "credit control" or "accounts payable" notes can be pulled through onto the various AP and AR reports. I think Xero need to add a "Note Type" when adding notes to an open item on AR and AP and then pull those notes through onto the report.

    There is also a case for the ability to add a similar note at the contact level (customer / supplier) as well as at the detailed open item level, and have that note pull through on the reports.

    I'd agree with this request. Our customers are split between those we have to send invoices out to and those we need to upload onto a portal or are entirely self billing. We use contact groups so we know which process we need to follow with each invoice. Being able to filter from the invoices awaiting payment screen is important to us.

    Hi team, we're pleased to share that this work is now underway.

    Our intention is to allow you to associate a contact per line in a manual journal.

    We appreciate there is a lot of interest in progress for this feature and I'll be back to share as soon as we have more news to update you on, here.

    Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.

    We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets. 

    For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store. 

    We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.

    Hi everyone, while we don't have a direct report for this, some changes we've made to History & Notes in Xero will help in achieving what you're in need of here. 

    You can run the History & Notes, filtering by Type = Contact and typing 'Bank account number' in the Search to just view results for this action. 

    If needed you'll be able to export your results to PDF or Excel. 

    Though the contact name doesn't show on screen, you can right click on the Contact in the report to open the contact's record in a new browser tab, that allows you to inspect details without navigating away from your History & Notes results.

    Thanks to everyone that’s shared interest in being able to write-off invoices or bills as a bad debt. We understand how a direct feature would enhance your use of Xero and flows when trading.

    As shared in our last update, while not a one-click solution we appreciate the needs expressed for being able to record bad debts right now, and have a Xero Central article that provides a way of currently accommodating this in Xero today.

    There are also other options that have been shared by members in this conversation that some may want to explore.

    We want to be open that specific bad debts functionality isn’t planned for invoices or bills at this time, but we understand the needs here and it’ll continue to remain high on our team’s radar when reviewing and prioritising their roadmap.

    Hey everyone, thanks so much for sharing all your ideas and detailed suggestions for a comprehensive Audit Trail Report.

    Through some of the comments in this discussion we wanted to highlight the Journal Report that may help with visibility of detail some are after. We've taken on board your thoughts on how this could be enhanced, like including an 'edited date' column and improving the export to Excel, however this is not in the roadmap right now.

    Being open, providing a complete audit trail of every single event and change within an organisation is not in our plans.

    That said, it’d help to gather interest in specific items you'd like to see added within the history and notes and I've shared links to a few ideas that have already been started on the platform. We welcome you to add your vote, or start a new idea for those that'd be…
