Reporting - Ability to consolidate multiple Xero organisations
To have the ability to combine the reporting between more than one Xero org.
Purpose: Better at group budgeting and account managements

Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.
We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets.
For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store.
We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.
We know this isn't the news many of you hoped for, especially given how long this idea has been on the platform. We value your input in helping us understand what matters most to our customers, and we’ll continue to review this idea for future consideration.

That really is a shame as from an IT technical point of view it ain't so difficult. The challenge - as always is actually having users maintain group disciplines - common chart of accounts, and standard intercompany account codes for P&L and balance sheet. Commercially it would take xero into a whole new world of clients - so it seems more than daft not to pursue this

This is a sad news actually. Anyway, for those who are looking for another platform to consolidate reports from Xero, we are currently using QuickConsols. It helps as it can be integrated to Xero and forward balances from Xero automatically and can be set up in a way that all organization will have the same GL outline for consolidated FS. However, you still need to work-out other things through excel. Hopefully, Xero will take more enthusiasm in adding this feature so it would be easier for us to do consolidated FS.

I use Joiin. Still have to manoeuvre bespoke spreadsheets to tailor reporting for our Board members but it's made life much easier and it's evolved nicely in the past year

We use Syft to achieve this, but it doesn't consoldate everything we need so still end up using spreadsheets to consolodate, I have tried Fathom - which is also OK, but much more rigid in its reporting

I've just received the notice that there is yet another app compatible with xero that will do this.
What has been asked for is a basic function as are many requests, yet xero palm them off to outside apps that we need to pay for as add ons.
Why don't xero just do the work that is and has been available in MYOB for some time?

This is urgently required. We need to be able to provide Profit and Loss reports for individual divisions and then bring the profit /loss into a Combined Profit and Loss Report for head office. This is a basic accounting software reporting requirement, all other accounting programs that I have worked with provide this capability. Please make this high priority to fix, we shouldn't have to be fiddling around creating excel reports, etc.
Same goes for Xero still not having proper farming reports. -

I would like to be able to have reporting for each entity - plus an overall report. All of the entities are LLC's, and owned by the parent company - thus the tax reporting is consolidated....

Small group of companies. Parent company and 4 subsidiaries with very similar structure and in the same business. Need to report on consolidated (combined) performance wrt. AR, AP and general business analytics. We spend more time to export and consolidate outside of Xero, while all the helpful business snapshot reports are only available individual. Individual reports are not accurate as transactions occurs across entities

Unfortunately, you are not even able to open a screen for each company at the same time unless you do this in different web browsers.
This also is unreasonable if you have multiple companies you are working with.
How many browsers are secure and trustworthy for something such as your company financials? -

We have multiple company Xero files and would like to be able to consolidate three of them for BAS purposes. Merge two subsidiary companies into the parent company for BAS returns. Thís would be so helpful and easier than downloading all the spreadsheets and merging.

We are moving 2 of our companies on to Xero, 2 are already there, and we really do need to be able to consolidate reports between the group of accounts.
So the sooner this idea is put into practice the better, seems it has been a long time in the waiting!

As a Finance Manager of multiple entities and xero files it would be good to have something like Xero HQ for practice for Finance managers and the multiple entities that look after so I can see each day the business snapshot of where we are at AP, AR Cashflow and NP
