There are a few different requests for this feature, all with different votes on each. They should all be combined together.
Please add another column for the tracking category (employee group). At the moment I need to do this manually and it takes time. Yes, I can filter by group, but what would be more useful, is to have subtotals per group and a total for the whole company. Not currently possible and quite time-consuming to achieve. This is a basic report required for calculating payroll tax for different employee groups.

Hiya everyone, as you may have seen we've released a new version of the Payroll Activity Summary report for AU and UK versions of Xero payroll. While it's still not possible to select multiple individual employees to run in this report, what you can do is run the report for an Employee group.
At this time we don't have plans for developing the ability to select and run the report for multiple employees, however we'll continue to track this here and update if there's any progress.

Why did the previous request for this feature get closed? now it looks like there are only 19 votes, when in reality there are multiple posts requesting the same really simple feature which will make reporting payroll tax so much easier.
Please add a column for the Employee group name... so easy.
In addition, adding subtotals per group would be a real treat.
