Appreciate you sharing here, Mike. Keen to get a bit more detail on the actions that are occurring for you here. When you say you remove the invoice number and it's changing - Are you trying to save the invoice with another number that you're entered or would you be trying to save this blank?
If not already I'd recommend raising a case with our Xero Support team of specialists to take a closer look at why this may be changing for you.

Hey community, 👋 thanks for all your support on this idea, I’m pleased to let you know that this has been delivered for UK Payroll initially! It includes the ability to select the date range you’re interested in, and check boxes to either select all results or multiple. Then you can download your selection as a single PDF of multiple payslips.
For users in AU and NZ we know this is a highly anticipated feature, however to be open this is not any immediate plans for those teams so we’ll leave this idea open. While we appreciate it doesn’t help employers needing bulk downloads, employees can be invited into the Xero Me portal to self-serve payslip collection.

I too add my disappointment that Xero ignore so many basic functionality requests.
It can't be that hard to write a report that allows us to download bulk payslips for various periods and employees.
WHEN WILL YOU PAY ATTENTION AND GET THIS DONE????

Hi Rebecca, I've just amended the title of your idea for your first request. In terms of the second when you're mentioning the input of dates. You should find you can currently enter dates in number format, however you'll need to make sure you keep the '/' or '.' to separate day month and year, alternatively you may find shortcuts help you cut down the time needed to enter your dates here.

This was first raised in 2021. It is now 4 years later and should be rectified. Xero too keen on making reports pretty than fixing basic functions.

We moved to Xero to improve our accounting functionality which is sadly lacking especially with consolidations.

I have just switched over from MYOB and this is extremely disappointing as MYOB has had this function for at least the 16 years I was using it.
Xero, many have asked for this and these days offering incentives for early payment is paramount.
As this has been requested for many years, I would think you should be making this a priority.

I'm a relatively new user to xero and the wasted space in column widths is driving me crazy. It should be simple for us to alter the column widths on screen before exporting any relevant data. I have absolutely no clue as to why the date columns are set to be so wide.
