Hi community, we appreciate hearing your interest around the reports that would be useful for you to use in Report Templates.
We have decided to split the request for Payroll reports and the Tracking Summary report as it is unlikely these would both be added at once.
You'll find the new idea for the Tracking Summary report across here and this one will remain centered around Payroll reports.
We want to be honest that we don't have any plans at this stage for adding payroll reports to Report Templates. But, our product teams are aware of the interest surrounding this and we'll let you know if there is any progress on this idea.

Hi team we appreciate the feedback and interest in adding the Tracking Summary report to Report Templates here. Being upfront this isn't something we have plans for.
However, we've made a recent update to enable you to adding a custom Tracking Summary report to Adviser packs which may meet some of the needs here.
I see there's also been mentions in this thread of users that'd like to add payroll report to report templates and I wanted to highlight this idea that I'd recommend adding your vote for if of interest. Thanks!

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback on payroll tracking. We understand some of you want to see gross wages, tax and super broken down by department and timesheet categories.
In May 2025 we released an update which allows super and leave to be allocated to employee groups, which helps track full wage expenses across departments or cost centre.
As you’re aware, our timesheet reports can be filtered by tracking categories, however the reports summarise hours rather than a total wage breakdown.
We've shared this idea with our product team. We really appreciate the feedback however further payroll tracking features are not in the near term roadmap so we'll update the status to Not in Pipeline at this time.
We’ll continue to monitor your interest and feedback as we plan future improvements to Payroll reporting.

Currently Stripe can send through a partial match to the bank feeds. The ability to partially match up bank feed items and then add the difference to the discuss tab for clients to chase up, would be a game changer.

regularly i get suppliers coming back and asking for all remittances for a set period. This first means finding seperate batches, extracting just thier remittance and then sending via external emial provider. It would be great to go to their contacts page and be able to select all payments to them and send direct from Xero. This is a feature always avialable in MYOB, along with sending a specific staff member all payslips.
