Hi team, thanks for the additional insights to those that have shared via the poll in my last update - You can still rank the importance of stats with us anonymously through the link here. 😊
It's truly valuable to get this feedback from customers to understand what insights would be most valuable for our customers to see and action on quickly.
Right now we don't have immediate plans, but we'll take these learnings into future planning to continue to develop automated bank rec, and I'll share if there are any updates with you all here.

Appreciate you sharing this feedback, Harry. We understand the request to filter auto-reconciled transactions during review. Having this visibility could help make reconciliation checks quicker and more focused.
We’ve updated the status to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest.

Thanks for the feedback around adding the description or reference form the statement line when auto reconciling with JAX. We really appreciate the feedback as it is invaluable to our Product team. We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!

Doesn't this come over in the Notes field, which you add as a column?
My complaint about this is the difference in language from module to module. For example, if I look the Bank Feed the transaction details are in "Description", if I go to Account Statements they are called "Particulars", and in the Auto Bank Rec Reconciled Screen they are called "Notes". This language shift makes it challenging for even an advanced user to find why a transactions was used in a bank rule or in an automated bank reconciliation.

Great suggestion, Ben! Thanks for your comment here.
Currently, our automation relies on your Xero organisation's reconciliation history and bank rules, new organisations, or those with a limited history, may find it takes longer for the automation to learn patterns initially.
To get the most out of automation, we do recommend setting up bank rules, keeping your contacts and chart of accounts up to date, and reconciling frequently.
When you're just getting set up and started there is also the option of uploading a pre-coded bank statement to help with getting your first few months of spend and receive money transactions created and reconciled quickly.
We appreciate how this process could help in onboarding new clients and setting up their organisations, and this is something we're exploring. I'll be sure to share any progress of this through the idea here.

Great to see you're getting in to test our new automated bank reconciliation. Can see how this would be useful if you often work with a lot of Xero organisations.
We'll start gauging the interest for this from others here, and our product teams are taking on board all feedback so I'll share if there are any updates. Thanks!

Aaah, wait apologies I see you mean the reconciled page related to transactions that have been reconciled through auto bank rec.
Good information to share back with the team, and we'll keep a close eye on the interest for this here. Thanks!

Hey Murray we really appreciate the feedback on the Auto Reconcile beta. And just to clarify we do see the feedback as 'ideas' its just the title we give it when the feature is not currently available but is something that our customers would like to see.
We are moving this to Gaining Support so we can gauge the Community support and sentiment and if this is something others would like to see as well.

Thanks for feeding back on your auto reconcile experience with us here and letting us know the changes that'd help you make the most use of this feature.
Right now, our teams are looking into improvements including a settings panel that enable more control of what drives bank auto reconciliations in your org. I'll be back to share more when this is released 🙂

Hi community, thanks for your responses to our update and the continued interest this idea receives. We're keeping a watchful eye on the support this idea gathers.
As mentioned in my last update our immediate focus for now is delivering more automation and intelligent tools to help you reconcile faster.
However, we understand and appreciate the pain points shared through this idea and will move the status of this to Accepted as our product team look into more details around this and how we might plan this into the roadmap.
I'll keep you updated of any developments in this space.

I am looking at two different client accounts and one offers the ability to filter by the auto rec method and another doesn't allow me to filter in this way. Why? Is this an update that is rolling out slowly?
