Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this idea.
We want to highlight some existing functionality that could help streamline this process: on the Cover page of a return, there's a toggle that allows you to switch between the Agent’s details and Client’s details.
Additionally, within the address section of the return, you can toggle to the client's address. Once you've successfully filed a tax return with the client's details selected - Xero remembers this preference. The next time you create a return for that specific client, their details will automatically be the default, saving you from having to manually change it again.
Though we'll continue to monitor popularity of this idea, we want to be upfront that we don't have any direct plans around the pre-fill behaviour at this time. We'll share if there's any change in status surrounding this idea.

Hi community, thank you to everyone who's shared and supported the ability to email credit notes to Xero.
We understand why you'd like to be able to automate the flow and entry of Credit Notes in Xero, however this isn't something we have plans of developing within Xero right now.
As mentioned in my last update it's possible to currently automate entry of Credit Notes in Xero, by publishing these through Hubdoc -You can find steps to connecting Hubdoc to your Xero organisation, or detail on publishing Credit notes, on Xero Central.
If there are any changes put in place for this, we'll let you know.

I believe that being able to do credit notes via the bill system is a critical item that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Having to move it onto your computer and then having to redo as credit note wastes so much time. As mentioned below this needs to be streamlined to make things a lot more efficient.

This is a matter of urgency. If you forget to change the address on the front cover of the tax returns then you end up getting all the mail for the clients. This should automatically default to the client address and phone number. This way the ATO will not hound the tax agents with incessant phone calls and mail which should be directed to the client as this is the only way the clients will take any notice.
