Hi everyone 👋 thanks for your feedback around the sync between Xero Practice Manager (XPM) and Xero Blue.
You may have heard our Xero’s practice tools are evolving into one seamless platform with Xero Partner Hub. With focus on this new hub at present we want to be open that there are no changes for the sync between Client in practice tools and Contacts in your Xero organisation.
This maybe something we look into in the longer term but want to be open it's not in the roadmap at present.
We'll continue to keep a close eye on the support here, and share if there's any progress.

I reached out to Support when unable to assign tasks to new team member to be told the following by support specialist: I have spoken with the wider team and with the recent update made, the optional 'Assign Tasks' is no longer available as you've seen.
I understand this isn't what you wanted to hear and I can only apologise, but we do ask that you make the feature suggest to our Product Team can look into this again for you.
With regards to the setting under Practice Settings, if you select Inherit this means any staff can record time against any task that has NOT been allocated to another staff member, so in your situation you have staff assigned. With Explicit any staff can record time against a task only if they have been allocated to the task, so it would be only the staff members assigned who can record time.
As of 9/5/23 notes on xero support said this was available. 2:42 PM View and assign staff to jobs – Xero Central
https://central.xero.com/s/article/View-staff-allocation?userregion=true#Addstafftojobsortasks 1/1
1. In the Jobs menu, select Jobs.
2. Select any tab other than All jobs.
3. Hover over Options and select Add Staff, Assign Manager or Assign Partner.
4. Select the staff member from the list, then click Next.
5. Select the checkbox next to each of the jobs you want to add the staff member to, then click Next.
6. (Optional) If you’re adding a staff member to the jobs and the selected jobs have any tasks in common,
select the checkbox next to each task you want to assign the staff member to.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the list of jobs and click Save
only work around suggested was to go into each job and assign tasks to relevant staff member(s). Why would this assign multiple tasks to staff feature be removed???
