    Thanks for your strong feedback on logging start and end times in NZ Payroll timesheets. We understand some of you are currently using workarounds or additional softwares to track start and end times.

    I'm pleased to let you know we're moving this idea to In discovery, which means the product team is now reviewing the viability of this feature. This is an important step as we explore what it would take to bring this functionality to NZ Payroll and how it could best serve your needs.

    Please development, when considering this upgrade for start and stop times, can you look at the ordinary hours for the stat days.
    We have found for clients not using timesheets, the ordinary hours pull through for stat days not worked, when pay is opened.
    When you use the timesheets, you have to manually add the hours. Tho it is not hard to enter, why would that have been affected.

    Hi community, we're pleased to share that we’re now developing more granular payroll permissions for Timesheets that'll allow you to give employee's appropriate access without full access to other sensitive payroll information.

    Your feedback has been really useful to our teams understanding and planning of permissions development across Xero payroll.

    I'll be back to let you know as these permissions roll out and how you can set your users up with the access they need.
