Sorry to hear you're not liking the refresh of the Files inbox, Felicity. The intention is to make managing and working with your files simpler and more efficient.
Just to confirm, when you say this has added extra clicks for you - would that be the need to go to the Archived tab to access a fioder you've moved a file to?

Thanks for feeding back to us here, Mark. I want to assure you our product teams and leadership are very attentive to the feedback we've been receiving from customers on the new invoicing experience and we're committed to improving this.
It helps for each of the points you've raised to be tracked separately so our teams can consider the votes as a factor when prioritising and planning development, as well as keeping the communication clear of the changes we're making.
Many of the things you've shared are being worked on and we have separate ideas for these that I've listed below and welcome you to join and vote for each, if you'd like.
Trying to get a better view of the placement of buttons that you mentioned - would this just be the Attach files option or is there another that you would like to see shifted above, too?

I completely agree with the comments re. the new invoicing layout. Too much at the bottom meaning you have to scroll around. Too many boxes.
I asked for the thousand comma to be put into the price box on the sales invoice screen. Is this not a simple request? The total has the comma, but not the price box? Why do changes take such a long time?

The new invoicing has too many boxes. The pages is overloaded with boxes. Can we please get rid of the currency reset box if we choose on a permanent basis? The whole new invoicing page is so crowded.

Please add a thousand comma to the data entry field on the new invoicing. It shows in the total field, but not in the first field in the invoice. Its needed in order to be able to read the figure quickly. Xero pulls it through to the total, but not in the data entry section.

I know I raised my comments re this incredibly ill thought-through change to files a few months ago, but I have to add further comments. As I use the new Files layout, it is throwing up further inconsistencies, and really infuriating issues.
Today, a client uploaded a file the wrong way round. I changed it in the right-hand view to be upright, but when I expand it so I can actually READ the document, it reverts to a sideways view (as uploaded by the client)!
When I go to attach a document from files when I am in a bill, the list of files that could be attached varies from the actual list in files!
Why would I choose to attach the document to bill (one of the options under the ellipsis on the right)? It doesn't pre-populate any of the data from the bill! It would be far better emailing the document to draft bills, where at least some data is pre-entered.
There are so many complaints on this files restructuring - often they are under different headlines.
At what point will Xero consider reverting to the original structure.
It is so poorly implemented.
