Thanks for sharing your idea about a New Zealand payroll report that includes full employee details as well as earnings information.
Currently, you need to export multiple reports and collate the information outside of Xero.

Hi everyone, thanks for the feedback. We recognise that a timesheet summary report would be a valuable addition to NZ Payroll.
This idea has been moved to our Accepted for future consideration.
While it isn’t currently on our roadmap, we’ll check back in here if that status changes.

Thanks for your strong feedback on logging start and end times in NZ Payroll timesheets. We understand some of you are currently using workarounds or additional softwares to track start and end times.
I'm pleased to let you know we're moving this idea to In discovery, which means the product team is now reviewing the viability of this feature. This is an important step as we explore what it would take to bring this functionality to NZ Payroll and how it could best serve your needs.
We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Hey team, me again. Apologies, getting a little ahead of ourselves with the status of this idea.
I can confirm that self onboarding of new employees is live for Xero Payroll in AU, however this feature does not extend to NZ organisations right now.
This will be something we continue to consider as we keep developing Payroll for NZ and I'll share any further updates with you all here. Thanks

Hi everyone, thank you for your detailed feedback on a clock in/out functionality in Xero Me. We see how being able to clock in and out directly from Xero Me would improve accuracy for job tracking, while enabling employees to easily log start/finish times and capture breaks at the touch of a button.
As part of a wider project to improve timesheets in Xero, we’ve updated the status of this idea to Accepted.
While this status means the product team would like to develop this, it’s not currently on our roadmap and we don’t have a delivery timeframe. We will continue to consider your feedback as we plan future updates. Thanks for your patience and ongoing engagement.

In NZ the tourism sector has a lot of the same staff returning season after season. It would be great to have an employee profile that you can reinstate each time they start a new contract. This would stop having the same person numerous times in the past employees. It would also make reporting a lot more easier.
