Hi Abrar, thanks for the thoughtful suggestion and the screenshots showing the account code used when reconciling the bank statement lines. We’ve shared your feedback with the team so they can consider this in future improvements. In the meantime, it’d be great to hear from others who’d benefit—please add your vote and any specific scenarios where this would save time in your workflow. In the meantime as a short-term workaround, run the Account Transactions report for the Bank account and add the Related account column to see where each transaction was coded ✨

Hi team, I wanted to share that the recent updates for the Reconcile page have now been released to all users. This includes a search bar at the top of the page and includes filters for date range and amount. This provides the ability to look up criteria of your statement lines and narrow down your search.
You'll also find you can now view more statement lines per page, with up to 50 at a time - You'll find more on this and other updates shared on our blog.
We appreciate the ask on this idea is a search across all statement lines, across all bank accounts. I want to confirm this is not something we have plans for developing at this stage, and I'll move this idea back to 'submitted' so we can continue to track and update you if there is any progress of this, here.

Hi team, I’ve got some updates on the Edit Link - Not Delete Right Away feature for Xero Workpapers. This is a confirmed feature for the new Xero Workpapers solution and is currently in development as part of the new Workpapers solution being developed in partnership with BGL and in the upcoming roadmap. The goal is to address a major workflow pain point that was raised directly from customer feedback. The plan is for a phased rollout, starting with Australia in FY26, Updates on the release will be shared through the Xero blog as we get closer to launch. This feature is part of a broader set of improvements focused on enhancing review, collaboration, and compliance within the new platform. ⭐

When the main XPM subscriber is given access to a client’s Xero file, that access should automatically include permission to manage user access. This would allow the XPM subscriber to directly assign staff to the client — similar to how it works in QBO, where once the accountant has access, they can privately add their team members without needing the client’s approval each time. Not all clients are aware of the “Manage User Access” option, which often causes delays and disrupts smooth operations for the company.
Likewise, payroll access should also be automatically granted to the main subscriber. From there, the main subscriber should have the ability to assign customized access levels to each staff member as needed.
