Excluding recurring Invoices from Cash Flow Projections, once the Invoice has been raised to remove any duplicated cash flow?
I want the system to be smart enough to automatically detect that a recurring invoice has already been raised as an actual invoice and then exclude the corresponding prediction from the cash flow projection without any manual intervention. Xero's short-term cash flow does not currently have that automatic deduplication logic. There is no setting that says "if the actual invoice already exists, auto-exclude the matching recurring prediction." The only options available today are the manual workarounds (turning off predictions or manually excluding individual ones), which doesn't properly solve the problem.
What I'd recommend: Submit this as a feature request on Xero's product ideas forum so the product team can see the demand for it. You can do this at:

Describe exactly what you've outlined — that the short-term cash flow should automatically exclude a recurring invoice prediction when the corresponding actual invoice has already been created. Other users can then vote on it, which helps prioritise development.
It's a valid issue and the behaviour you're describing — automatic deduplication — is what most users would reasonably expect from the projection.

Hi team, thanks so much for your engagement and for sharing your needs on this idea over time.
While we don’t plan to build this into the Short-term Cashflow feature, we did want to highlight that similar functionality is available through Cash Flow Manager in the new Xero Analytics.
With Cash Flow Manager, you can extend your forecast out to 180 days.
We understand the original request was for a full 12-month forecast and the ability to set a custom date range. We've focused on a short-term forecasting tool in Xero that projects up to 180 days, and whilst we do not have plans to have extended projections longer term that now, there are other solutions - such as Syft that offer advanced forecasting tools as well for long-term projections.

Ability to enter timesheet repeats against Project, Resource, Task & Duration across a projected data range?
Xero Projects does not currently support creating repeating timesheet entries across a projected date range by Project, Resource, Task, and Duration.
Here's what is available:
Individual time entries – Time can be entered against a specific Project and Task, with a duration or start/end time, for a given date.
Copying time entries – On mobile, an existing time entry can be copied to quickly create another similar entry, though each still needs to be saved individually.
Payroll timesheet integration – Project time entries can be loaded into an employee's payroll timesheet, but the time entry dates must fall within the same date range as the relevant payroll timesheet period.
There is no built-in feature to auto-generate or schedule repeating time entries over a future date range.
Would this not prove a useful & common feature?
That's a fair point — repeating timesheet entries across a projected date range is something many project-based businesses could find useful, particularly where resources are allocated to the same tasks on a recurring basis.
While I'm not able to influence the Xero product roadmap, you can submit this as a feature request directly to Xero. The best way to do that is through Xero's product idea forum, where the product team reviews and considers suggestions from users:
