Hey Rebecca, thanks for your engagement and for sharing this detailed suggestion about user permissions in Xero Projects.
We've reviewed your idea to allow users to view project profitability without needing the full admin user role, and it can now gain support from other community members. We understand the need for team members to keep track of a project's performance, and why granting full admin access isn't always suitable.
Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how this more granular user role would improve their project management and empower their teams. 🙂

Thanks for your feedback on Projects here, Tia. If you have any other detail you can share or examples of how sub projects would be used by your business this would be useful for our product teams consideration.
We don't have any plans for this at present, but make sure you share the idea with other colleagues that could also find this useful so we can get a wider understanding of the interest.

Hi community, we appreciate everyone's engagement here. To confirm we have intentions of developing the purchase order experience, however developing Projects into this does have some complexities and requires work across both purchase orders and projects to deliver.
Right now our initial focus is releasing the new purchase order experience to all users.
While we don't have a timeframe for assigning PO's to Projects at this stage, this is top of our product teams radar and we'll communicate here as soon as there's an update.

Thanks for sharing your idea in the community here, Trevor. We don't have plans for adding Projects to other reports in Xero at present but we'll start to get a sense of the interest for this in your idea here and share if there are any changes.

It is super important that I can see which project an invoice has been raised against in the Receivable Invoice Summary report.
If you could add one more column for Project in the receivable invoice reports that would be a huge benefit to our business.
If not, I will have to run and download multiple reports and then merge them together somehow, which will be a massive amount of unnecessary admin when just one more column could make a monumental difference.
