Thanks for raising your feedback with us here. It's really good to understand what's important to help our customers working in Xero.

If possible it'd be great to get more detail as to why you're often needing to access the Tracking Settings? In many places you'll find that you can add new tracking options for a category while on the go and entering transactions in your org, so would appreciate deeper understandings of your business flows here.

    Hy,
That’s a solid point about improving navigation clarity. Re-adding a tracking category to the main menu can really help users find what they’re looking for faster, especially when content keeps expanding. I’ve seen a similar approach work well on content-heavy pages where categories act like quick entry points. For example, when browsing something detailed like menu breakdowns, having clear categories makes a big difference kind of like how this page organizes everything neatly: https://missionbbqmenus.com/. It keeps things structured without overwhelming the user, which is exactly what good navigation should do.

It looks like this thread is about managing demo data and keeping things clean without doing a full reset. That kind of clarity really matters when you’re handling live updates, especially during high-traffic events. For example, when the Jharkhand Academic Council announced the Class 10 results this year, many students rushed to check their scores at once. If result data isn’t handled properly, pages can slow down or break. I recently shared a simple walkthrough on checking the JAC 10th result, including alternative methods like SMS and DigiLocker in case the main site lags https://jacresult.co.in/jac-10th-result/. Might be useful for anyone managing education-related portals or result dashboards.
