Thanks for sharing your idea about expanding this feature to include credit notes (and not create them as bills).
Now it's up to the community to get behind and support your idea. Make sure you share it with any colleagues it could also benefit, so they can add their votes and comments too!
In the meantime, it's possible to bulk import credit notes using a CSV file, but not via this feature.

Thanks everyone, for continuing to share your experiences and examples here. We’ve been following the recent comments and really appreciate the added detail around the challenges this creates in real payment runs, particularly where credits need to be reflected alongside bills so supplier statements and remittances stay aligned.
This March, we released the ability to find and match credit notes when reconciling, which was another highly requested idea on Xero Product Ideas.
We recognise this is an end-of-process solution and doesn’t address the core need raised in this idea. As a quick update from my last post, we’ve done some early exploration into the technical requirements needed to solve the pain points mentioned. This is a complex area to get right, as it touches multiple parts of the bill payments and credit note experience.
At this stage, our focus remains on continuing to develop our bank-agnostic payments solutions across regions,…

Good to understand the needs of our different customers an that some times you may need to chase a supplier for an invoice, Lezelle.
This isn't something we have plans for atm, but we'll get a sense of the interest from community through your idea here.

Hi team, we appreciate hearing how viewing noes from the bills list view would be helpful. While this isn't something we have planned at this stage we'll continue to keep a pulse on the interest in this here.
If there are any changes to share I will provide an update to you all. Thanks

Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest this idea has built and understand how filtering for Bills that have no planned date would help in being able to assign planned dates more efficiently and help you manage your bills.
We're in the process of making a lot of valuable updates to Bills with a focus on releasing our new Bills edit and View pages right now, along with this there are updates that we are making to Bills infrastructure that will make adding features like this simpler in the future.
While we can't commit to this idea right now, I'll make sure to share an update with you here if this gets picked up.
For now, as noted in my last update you can currently re-order bills by the Planned date column header which will help group all Bills that don't have a planned date together.

Appreciate the feedback here, everyone. As noted in my last update - we released a notes feature in the contact record that enables you to add editable notes (up to 4000 characters) that are visible when viewing the contacts record.
At this stage, we don't have any plans around pop up notes similar to what's being asked on this idea, however understand this is really what's needed to help solve for your idea here.
For now, we'll shift the idea back to submitted and continue to track the interest. If there are any other developments that could help achieve what you're asking we'll share this with you all, here.
