Bills List View - Add a Notes / Reminder section
Insert a Notes section on the Bills You Need To Pay screen.
For example, I can enter a due date, planned date etc .. but a section for Notes that can include a little reminder for example "confirm A123456 has been delivered"
Hi team, we appreciate hearing how viewing noes from the bills list view would be helpful. While this isn't something we have planned at this stage we'll continue to keep a pulse on the interest in this here.

Would be great to be able to view a notes column in the awaiting payment section to add whether the bill is being paid via BPay, Sniip, Credit card or other information regarding the payment etc as not all bills are paid via EFT in batch payments.

An icon to show that a note has been left on a quote. See attached.
This is a screenshot from the quotes section, and I have added a notes symbol.
When scrolling through quotes, it will show other people, or a reminder for yourself, that there is a note on that quote, which saves them having to click through each one to check for a note.
In addition to this, the icon could be interractive, so if you hover over it, the note pops up so you can 'quick view', which again, will save time.

Would be great if we could add a short notes field into the draft and awaiting approval screens in bills/invoices. For example, why the invoice/bill is not approved / still in draft status - "Hold for credit note", "Only pay $102.50 of this invoice", "Waiting on confirmation before approval". Not needed in the body of the invoice as its for internal business use only (and this way customers can't see the note), and can display these notes in the Draft Bills/Invoices screen so you can see at a glance why a bill might be languishing in Drafts or Awaiting Approval without having to click into the invoice.

This would speed up communication when you have multiple people in the accounts, especially those working asynchronously. I've developed a habit of leaving bills in draft when they're not to be paid until delivery has been confirmed, because there are people I work with who will Pay All The Bills, without checking first.

Or better still, make Notes an optional column to add to the Bills Summary screen

I think a very useful feature is Notes at the bottom of a bill or invoice, however it is not quite practical if we have to click history to see any notes added to a particular bill.
A better place would be right below the description box so any notes added would be clearly visible to anyone who opens the bill. Also, if a note is added to a bill, there should be an icon for it - similar to the files icon.

Have a preview option when you scroll over lists of invoices and bills. Would save having to click into an invoice and then back again.

The ability to preview notes added against a bill/invoice from the summary screens, rather than having to open each record to view them. For example a notes icon next to the existing document one, which would display the note when clicked.
