Thanks for explaining how this feature could be improved. We understand the request for purchase orders to show the remaining value or outstanding balance after a partial bill has been created. Having this information available in the purchase order overview could make it easier to track outstanding commitments at a glance.

We've updated this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest from the community. If this would improve your workflow, add your vote and share how you'd like to see it displayed.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for taking the time to share this idea and explain the impact it’s having on your payment runs.

We can absolutely see how splitting one payment run into multiple batches adds extra steps and complexity to the process, especially for organisations managing a high volume of bills.

Because of the support and detail we’re seeing on this idea, we’re moving it to Gaining Support. This helps us better understand how many customers are affected and the different ways this limit is impacting their workflow.

Please keep the feedback coming — if you can, add a comment with a bit more detail about how many bills you’re typically paying in a batch and how this affects your process. That context is really helpful for our team.

Thanks again for raising it and for helping us build a better experience 💙.

This would definitely be a good idea. We are currently paying around 200 bills per batch but we are growing rapidly and this will definitely start affecting us soon. It also affects us if we actually "forget" to change it from 100 to 200....then get to the bottom of the page after painstakingly ticking what we want to pay and then realising we have to start again. YES PLEASE to this great idea 🙏👍

Thanks for raising this so clearly, Monica 🙂.

We understand the behaviour you’re describing: when a bill created from a purchase order is later edited, voided, or deleted, the billed quantities on the purchase order don’t reset, which can leave the PO out of sync with what’s actually been received and billed.

We’re making this idea available for others to vote on and comment on, which helps build a clearer picture of the level of support for this improvement.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for continuing to share your feedback, we can see how helpful it would be to show the nominal account / account code directly in the Bills list, rather than needing to open each bill to check those details.

Because this idea has continued to come up over the years — including in a number of older, similar ideas that we’ve now merged into this one — we’re moving it to Gaining Support so we can bring that feedback together in one place, build clearer visibility, and better understand how many customers would benefit from it.

Please keep adding your votes and comments here — especially if you can share a little more about your workflow and which bill list views this matters most in. That extra context really helps our product team when reviewing ideas like this.

Thanks again for taking the time to raise…
