  1. Could you enhance customer accounts by automatically adding outstanding amounts from previous invoices to the next issued invoice as a separate line item called 'outstanding fees'? This ensures customers can pay the full amount due, not just the current invoice.

  2. Thanks for adding this feature. I'm trying it and I noticed that if you copy and paste a value with a $ in it, it will not paste properly. Sometimes when you copy paste opening or closing balances from PDF it copies including the dollar sign.

    Please allow to paste the value with the $ in it.

    Also, there doesnt seem to be any way of deleting a draft period. Please consider adding a small garbage bin icon in the period list and inside the period.

    Appreciate your feedback, Alvaro. I know you originally shared your comment on this idea however I've just turned your comment into a new idea, so we can separately gauge interest in being able to delete a draft period. We're staying close to the feedback we're receiving so we'll share if there's any plans made around this with you here.

  4. When a new invoice is created, have the reference number auto fill from saved data. Just like you can save what sales account and tax to use for a contact. I have customers that give me a blanket PO for the year and I use it on every invoice I create for them.

  5. It would be really useful to see the contact name on the History and Notes report.
    We use this report to track bank account changes but we also check newly added supplier bank account details. Seeing which contact each line relates to would help us group them and know if an 'Edited - Bank.....' relates to the same contact as a 'Created' so we don't need to go into each line

  7. Please instate bank feeds for ABN AMRO bank (the Netherlands). I joined Xero for its highly automated systems. Now I still have to download and import bank statements manually.

    It adds insult to injury for the fact I have to sign up to a premium plan to be able to account in a mere two currencies. For small traders like myself with low turn-overs and no need for the majority of features larger companies need, this feels deeply inappropriate and unfair. (another idea about this topic is already live elsewhere)

  8. I just want a simple report that show sales by customer with comparatives to previous financial years that agrees back to the sales on the profit & loss statement. Surely thats not too difficult??

    I am disappointed at the lack of decent sales reporting in Xero. Whilst I agree that Xero has many great features, their sales reporting is not one of them.

    The income by contact report does not work as it picks up all receive money transactions for all contacts, not just those in the sales accounts or for customers, so it is significantly different to the P&L.

    Thanks for submitting your idea on Xero Product Idea's, Dande. Have you tried the Income by Contact report? This report shows the contacts you’ve received money from over a chosen period, and includes both receive money and sales invoice amounts that have been entered for the contact. Or is there another way you're expecting this to be broken down?

    Hi team, just wanting to make sure we understand the idea correctly here. When you'd like a payment voucher - would this be for accounts payable or receivable?

    On the payables side, perhaps purchases orders could facilitate the record of this in Xero, and you can upload attachments to keep track of files related to a voucher. Alternatively, for accounts receivable, quotes maybe able to support what you're in need of here.

  10. We have multiple stripe accounts that we need to connect. It would be great to be able to add more than one strip payment processor that connects to two separate stripe IDs.

    Hi community, we value your engagement in product ideas here. As you may have seen we've recently rolled out a new send experience in new invoicing. 

    With this new side-by-side view you'll find you can also CC and BCC other emails 🎉

    While this feature is contained to new invoicing atm, we'll look at applying a similar experience to other areas of Xero that you can send from in the future, so we'll keep you updated of any further developments for this here. Thanks!

  12. I always want to reconcile my newest transactions first, as they are freshest in my head. It's actually become pretty maddening not having this feature.

  14. Ability to change our PAYG Withholding period to weekly. Only options are None, Monthly or Quarterly. The ATO requires we lodge and pay PAYGW weekly now and this is not possible in Xero. We have to change our PAYGW period to None so that it does not show on the BAS and manually calculate, lodge and pay this weekly.

  15. Please could you add the ability to select on the customer contact card if invoices are sent by e-invoice or not. Some customers prefer e-invoices, and some are not set up for e-invoices.

  16. The new Payroll Activity Detail Report is very hard to read when there is more than a couple of employees.

    I understand that the new report format has been designed to reflect the other updated reports in Xero. However, so that it is more user-friendly, can we have:

    1 - A blank line between each employee so that it is easier to see quickly where one employee's details cease and the next employee's details start.

    2 - Highlight the employee name by shading that line, again to make it easy to see where each employee starts on the report.

  17. List prepayments separately from "Awaiting payment" report in Dashboard.
    At the moment, prepayments are lumped together with "Awaiting payment" reports in Dashboard. This gives a wrong view of the actual number of invoices that are awaiting payment. Please list prepayments separately on a different line.

  18. The new NZ WorkRide scheme works via a pre-tax deduction re salary sacrifice. Xero Support confirmed that right now there’s no functionality in Xero Payroll to process a pre-tax deduction. We have been advised that we need to manually adjust the tax in the draft pay run to reduce the PAYE withheld. Please enable your customers to comply with the NZ WorkRide scheme without the need for manual PAYE adjustments, by creating the ability to process pre-tax deductions.

  19. When there are no payruns for multiple pay runs in a row, please add a feature to allow to reset the pay cycle from a selected date. As it is, if a client doesn't have any pay runs, we need to either post/file the empty pay runs to keep on the pay calendar, or run all future pays as unscheduled pay runs, or set up a new pay calendar. Wouldn't it be great if there was a more simple way to keep on track with pay cycles?! Also, when selecting an unscheduled pay run, please reorder the pay dates so…

  20. Currently, Xero facilitates bank feeds with Investec (South Africa) although does not allow bank feeds to be setup for the UK & Channel island branch - This connection needs to be setup.
