Hi Luping Zhang, it looks like you're interested in adding UnionPay as a payment service to Xero. While we don't have a direct integration you could look to set this up as a custom URL. We have some information on how you can go about this on Xero central.

New Invoicing - Allow to type the Bank Account in 'Add Payment' screen
KEYBOARD ACCESS IN ALL FIELDS IS CRITICAL
Xero users know how a keyboard works and I'm sure many find its use preferential to having to continuously move a hand to the mouse to engage dropdown menus. This needs to be available in all areas of Xero.3 votesHi team, from the payments window when you're on the Account field if you press 'Enter' on your keyboard this will open the field. From here you can type to search and select the bank you'd like.

Chart of Accounts - Import new accounts from csv
Please give the option to import a list of new accounts to add to the existing Chart of Accounts.
We have created a new department with a couple dozen new accounts.
I'd like to be able to upload from a csv file rather than entering one by one manually since I already have the listed in a spreadsheet.
Currently, the only option is to reimport the entire Chart of Accounts with the new accounts added to the list. To me that is an unnecessary risk of overwriting hundreds of existing accounts.5 votesAppreciate your interest in this idea, team. I want to confirm that it's possible to import multiple new accounts to your existing chart of accounts through the use of a CSV import.
You'll want to export your existing chart of accounts, where you can add the new ones to the sheet. Save this as CSV, then re-import to your organisation - We have information on importing to your chart of accounts here, and you can test in the demo company if you'd like to try this out and view the results first.

Tracking - Ability to set default Tracking in invoice Branding Theme
It would be nice to be able to set a default tracking category for invoice branding themes. As it is now, we have to set the tracking category manually for each line item on an invoice. For longer invoices this becomes very tedious and error prone.
1 voteHi Dominic, as Tracking was originally designed as an internal mechanism for tracking and monitoring parts of your business, it's not possible to make this field visible to your customers (re the invoice branding theme) we have a slightly different request for this here that you're welcome to join if you'd like to see this.
However, if you'd like to set a default Tracking option to save yourself time when entering invoices you could set this on your Contact records. Within the Sales and Purchase sections you'll see an option to assign a Tracking option for each category you've set up.

Invoice-
automatically create a credit note if a customer is paying on multiple invoices and will have an overpayment.
1 voteHi Jodie, while Xero won't automatically create the credit note for you. If you are reconciling a single payment to multiple invoices, you can use Find & Match choose all the invoices, and then in section 2. choose 'New transaction' receive payment. When the screen opens the transaction to enter detail use the drop down next to 'Received as' to select Overpayment.

bank reconciliation
Bank Reconciliations Report - There should be a report that enables you to extract all bank statement transactions and list out for each the actual accounting transactions they have been reconciled against. This should be by date range and then include all the same options as 'accounting transaction reports'.
This would be super helpful for audit, month end reviews, be able to identify different transaction types, review complex issues arising if a supplier or customer disputes etc..
The data is there, yet as users we are not able to get the data out.
Seeing one by one is not enough.
1 voteHi Jack, have you tried running the Account Transactions report for your bank account with the Related account column? This will show you the related account each statement line of your bank has been reconciled to.

set balance sheet default date to "today"
The Balance Sheet currently defaults to the last EOFY date, which as at today (posting this suggestion) is 9 months ago. this is frustrating as you usually look for the figures as at now, and not the end of the last financial year. This functionality changed in one of the recent product updates. I know we can change the date and re-run the report, however it seems silly to default back to the end of the last FY and is a waste of time to have to do this always.
1 voteHi Jo, from the Balance Sheet there is a common date format for 'Today'. Once selected you can save the report as Custom and make this the default if you'd prefer.

Activity Statement - Ability to dismiss ATO outage notification
I appreciate getting a notification of a future ATO outage but I'd like the ability to dismiss it; I've already checked the dates and confirmed it won't affect me, but it stays on the page while completing the BAS.
1 voteThanks for your feedback on this notification banner, Shannon.
After a quick check in with our team on this, I'm pleased to share they've made a small change so you'll now find it's able to be dismissed!

W-9 - Integrate sending with Gmail
Xero doesn't have a built-in option to directly integrate with or automatically use Gmail for sending W-9 requests. That would be really helpful ~
2 votesIt sounds like you're referring to the Request W-9 window, Reuben? You should be able to set up Gmail as your default email app on the device you're using. If this isn't opening Gmail by default you may want to check your device's settings.

Bill due date
Hi, you already have a 'bill due date' which you can set up to default to various options but you have to enter a number between 1-31 and we have suppliers who allow us to pay 60 days end of month. Could this be amended?
2 votesHi Karen, it sounds like you may have the default for bills set for 'of the following month' or 'of the current month', however you can change this to [x] days after the end of the bill month. See our direction on how to adjust this on Xero Central.

It would be good if you could you could add a batch of invoices from the same supplier
It would be good if you could you could add an option where you can enter a batch of invoices from the same supplier without having to add each one separately and approving them, and then have to enter the supplier name each time.
1 voteHi Jayne, there are a few different features you could use to help with your bills entry. If you have a copy of your supplier invoices you could upload them, alternatively you could use email to bills, Hubdoc or manually import via a CSV file. Aside from the manual import many of these options will extract data from your bill to create a draft bill for you.

New Invoicing - Limit Payment account selection
NEW INVOICING
Add default bank accounts for adding a payment. Old invoicing automatically brought up your bank accounts. New invoicing-you have to sort through or search your whole chart of accounts for the bank account/s.3 votesHi community, only accounts that have been enabled to receive payment in your Chart of Accounts will appear in the payment Account drop down menu. If you're finding accounts that don't have this enabled appearing in the selection please do raise a case with our specialists via Xero Central where our team will be able to investigate with you 1:1.

new invoicing
New invoicing - Not user friendly
I am sure that there are some great features with the new invoicing but I cannot see them!!
On the new invoicing screen, where do you see the exchange rate and the payment status of an invoice or if a credit note was applied to an invoice.
The Classic invoicing working well and if it isn't broken then don't fix it!
1 voteHi Celeste, appreciate your feedback here. Each of the points you've shared should be visible within new invoicing.
If you're entering a multi-currency invoice the exchange rate is shown at the top right of the invoice, and you should see the status of the invoice i the top left beneath the blue banner e.g Awaiting Payment, Paid etc.
I've attached an image of this for your reference.

preview invoice
In the old invoicing you can preview the invoice without downloading a PDF. I would like to view them again in the new invoicing without having to download a PDF.
1 voteThis is already possible, and you're even able to preview an invoice without using your mouse now with keyboard shortcuts! If you type Alt-Shift-V(Opt-Sift-V on a Mac)
Otherwise, you'll see this option next to Save within new invoicing view.

Sales invoicing - amend VAT
Can you make the VAT amendable on the new invoicing system. We link with the Clover till system and the vat is always a few pence out, but the new invoicing doesn't allow us to change the vat amount.
1 voteHi Lindsey, you should find that you can add a Tax Amount column within new invoicing which will allow you to change the tax amount of the individual lines so you can correct the cents between your other system and Xero.

Invoicing - Receive Deposits on future sales before raising an Invoice
Record deposits on a quote or future invoice sale without raising the invoice value against a customer.
We manufacture a product and then install for a customer - with a deposit of either 50/50% or 30/30/30/10% at the point of approved sale. We are happy to create an invoice number but with a deposit on each sale this creates a "negative balance" and we do not want to create a sale until the final invoice has been agreed at installation. ie. a negative receivable.
2 votesHi David, depending on how you need the deposit amount shown on the customer statement you could record these amounts as either Overpayments or Prepayments that would be applied to the customers invoice once created at a later date.

New invoicing | Allow pasting tracking categories
Sometimes I need to add the same tracking category to multiple lines of the invoice. CLASSIC invoice allowed me to simply paste the category in the box and that's it. NEW invoicing now requires me to CLICK after pasting which doubles the amount of time I'd need comparing to CLASSIC. Please bring that possibility back - OR, EVEN BETTER, maybe let us drag the options to apply them to cells below (like it's done in Excel).
2 votesHi everyone, we're delighted to announce that the new line item grid is now available to all users. This update incorporates several enhancements based on valuable customer feedback, and includes resolving your suggestion, here.
With the new grid, you can now easily copy & paste tracking information between cells, using 'Tab' to navigate to the next cell efficiently. While the drag-and-drop functionality isn't currently available, this has been raised as a related idea, which you're welcome to support. We'll provide updates on its progress if any arise.
Thank you for your continued input through product ideas – your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve Xero."

Upload files to a chart of account code
Upload files to an account code in the chart of accounts, rather than to a transaction or a contact. Thinking in particular for lease and loan schedules and calculations, breakdown of accruals / prepayments, pdf bank statements to bank accounts.
1 voteHey community, 👋 thanks for your support on this idea, I'm popping in to switch it across to delivered!
Simply click on the figure in the YTD column on the chart of accounts screen and it opens a detail page with the file upload button on it.
Thanks again for your feedback. It helps us to continue shaping the future of reports here at Xero.

New Invoice - Cursor Default Position
In the old Invoicing, when creating a new invoice the cursor would default to contact field so as soon as the screen opened you could start typing to bring up the contact. With the new Invoicing you have to click on the screen in the desired field to be able to type anything.
Please fix this, it is extremely frustrating.
21 votesWe're grateful to everyone who participated in the discussion and provided valuable feedback regarding the cursor positioning. I'm pleased to announce that we have released a change, and upon opening your next invoice, the cursor will now default to the Contact field. Thanks again for your contributions.
