Notifications - Email/notification when items are Awaiting Approval in Xero

Ability to notify an approver within the Xero org when items are in the Awaiting Approval status.

Purpose: Approver can approve or decline the transactions faster.

    This would be really helpful! I'm currently training in Xero and learning how to do all of the invoices / add bills. For now, my boss is getting me to 'Save & Submit for approval' for the invoices and bills I create. I'm doing quite a few but then my boss doesn't know when they are in the queue for him to approve. So, I'm having to manually tell him each time I have an invoice to be approved so I can then get it approved and email it to our client... It would make things easier if he could get a notification pop up saying there is a bill or invoice to check.

    This is very important. Also depending who created the PO, their particular line manager should get the automated email.

    important for bookkeepers and accountants that assist clients with backend. Good for approvers to receive email notification to streamline the process

    it allows users to not have to check the app every day when they don't have an office eg. trades etc.

    Concur with comments. Automatic Notifications sent to those with authority to approve Expenses, Bills, Invoices, Workpapers are essential for faster workflows in Xero.

    We have two different approver in the company. We require an email notification when expenses, bills and invoices are submitted/created for approval and an option to choose approver name.

    Would be great to have this in Xero. Thanks

    Just repeating other user’s comments. Automatic email notification of purchase orders requiring approval would be more efficient for our business.

    We are setting up our PO system in Xero and I'm surprised this function isn't available. We have quite a few team leaders and managers who need to approve expenses and this would be a great way to be efficient and help them save time.

    Please can this be done for expenses ideally an email notification (Can set it up to send to an inbox/multiple inboxes)
