Absolutely would make a massive difference if this was made possible

Essential uplift and surely can't be hard.

We really need to be able to bulk import repeating invoices. We have the same 600 invoices each month and having to change the dates on the CSV and then re-import can be quite time consuming.

It would significantly reduce administrative time if bulk import/export functionality were available for repeating invoices, similar to what is already in place for 'normal' invoices. Why can't this be extended to repeating ones?

it's crazy that a simple export of recurring invoices doesn't exist yet, especially when other grids have exports.

I have been waiting for this function, but Xero tends to add **** things which does not simplify the use of it, like all the graphs and nitty gritty stuff. We do not want that.
We would like to have functions that would safe us time and money!!!!!!!!!
Like sending and attach statements with the invoices and import and export of repeating invoices and to edit all repeating invoices creation date at once for holidays and December.
We cannot edit each repeating invoice 1 by 1 every year during Christmas. Our repeating is set to do invoicing on the 25th of every month. Now at Christmas time we would like to do it on the 23rd.

All of you who are struggling with Xero who do not listen to us as clients and especially for things that have been asked for, for nearly 10 years, have a look at "Sage". They have all the functions we need and more. I am running a trial period and they offer to import everything from Xero to Sage.

Also there are alot of other Accounting software that we can use.

Look I like Xero a lot, but If Xero gives us a one-up, so can we.
They tend to make unnecessary changes and add features that makes it look nice, whereby making the simplicity of accounting an issue.

Xero Start listening to what we need on the ground and adding features that we need and ask for to save us time and money. It is as simple as that!!!!!

The copy and paste function does not give us the invoice description customised for each of the repeating invoices. Please provide an import/export feature so we can view the customised description without having to open one repeating invoice at a time to view. This will make the annual invoice review much easier.

I think Xero should relax on all the cashflow forecasting and analytics stuff (lots of much more powerful tools out there) and remember they've left a trail of basic functions in the dust.... like this one.
Haven't needed to bring in repeating invoices in a bulk in a few years; however now I need it for a new client; and alas - all this time, and still a missing function!

We have just merged with another firm and I now have to recreate over 650 repearing invoices :(

As a subscription based business this is essential. Use Bean box but that doesn't let me track won and lost subscriptions so need to do that in spreadsheets. Amazes me there isn't a solution available - will have to keep looking

Better still, a simple way to add percentage increases to line items in bulk for repeating invoices.

Any subscription based business requires this. I'm so annoyed my Accountants put me on this system when it's a critical part of our business.

I've just spend the last two months adding addresses in the reference column of 4,000 repeated invoices so I can export over to excel to check if we have a site address invoiced out more than once (under separate names). Now I see we can import but not export. Even just trying to drag/copy only shows a portion of the reference column. Please tell me I haven't just wasted my time and this is coming asap?

This is a basic request...can't understand why this hasn't yet happened! Please Xero.

Every table type PAGE in Xero should be able to be exported and we should be able to sort by the column title. We cannot export Repeating invoices and we cannot sort by Repeats. this is a simple databse change for the sort by column and should be enabled for every column. Xero used to be brilliant, and then too many developers got their hands on it, rather than users.

Copy and paste the list does NOT give all the description detail or anything else like Contact Group for the Contact.

This feature would be extremely convenient to have. I'm about to have to spend a large amount of time manually adding 300+ bulk repeating invoices from Zoho to Xero...

I have just been introduced to an App called BeanBox which can be used to "Export" repeating invoices. Its main purpose is as a forecasting tool.
The issue of Importing to Xero still remains though.
A simple Export/Import function for Xero Repeating invoices would be a big improvement to Xero.

Import / Export of repeating invoices would be great feature as i need to move all my repeating invoices over to a new business, now i have to move them one by one very time consuming.

I don't know if it helps anyone but if you highlight all of the repeating invoices then copy onto an Excel sheet then copy to Excel Again it will export the information for you as seen on the screen so you can format the data however you want.

Found this out purely by playing around with the system.
