We can see you raised this a little while ago, so wanted to touch base with an update. We can see that this idea has been steadily gaining support, so have updated the status accordingly.
It's also useful to note that there may be a few changes to superannuation in Xero with the ATO's upcoming PayDay Super changes rolling out in July 2026.
This means superannuation is firmly on our product team road map. They will be updating payroll customers about the changes in the coming months.

I also think that if we need quite a lot at once, but not all outstanding, we should be able to tick the say box 1 then tick box 20 and all in between would automatically tick. When doing large payrolls, it takes too long to tick 4 weeks worth of pays when not wanting to include the first pay run of the next month.

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on customising the “Reply-To” email address which payslips are sent. We appreciate you sharing how important it is to have control over the reply-to address, considering sometimes bookkeepers process payroll.
As you’re aware Xero has the functionality to set a default reply-to email address for some emails, however this doesn't extend to payslips.
Our product team sees merit in the idea for future development. We’ll update the status of this to Accepted so that it’s formally marked for consideration.

This would be helpful, especially in files with a lot of overseas subscriptions.

Given the frequency of fee changes for Xero Partners and service/product fee changes for Xero clients that also use repeating invoices it really would make sense to streamline the admin by ensuring bulk changes can be made.

Hi everyone, thanks for your valuable feedback and engagement with this idea. We're aware of the importance of real-time error notifications for an efficient workflow.
While we can' make any commitments at this stage this is something our product teams have lined up for exploration a little later this year and we'll be sure to keep you looped in on any progress here.

A very important feature, anything that rejects should trigger an alert on the page and also an email.

Hi everyone, we know this remains a highly important request, and we appreciate the volume of detail you’ve shared around billing, delivery and contact management workflows in this idea.
As shared in our last update - our team has been progressing the next phase of work needed to bring this more meaningfully into invoicing.
We know many of you are looking for clearer timing, and while I’m not able to confirm a release date at this stage, I do want to reassure you this remains an active area of work for our product teams.
We’ll continue to return here with further updates as we move through the next stages. Thanks again for your patience and for continuing to share the workflows that make this so important.

Client services multiple addresses that require separate billing contact accounts in Xero but they all go to one real estate agent. He needs the ability to add more detail so he can easily identify the property address when searching the contact name without having the address as part of the contact name.
I hope that makes sense.

In MYOB Business (some contract work I do), they have an option to have the bank feed transactions for all bank accounts, in date order, on the one screen. It’s so easy to reconcile and especially helpful for transfers to stand out.
The first column is the date, second is the bank account, third is the description, then columns for spent or received amounts.
Far right is the option to code or match the line to a bill etc, far left is the option to tick to choose multiple entries to code in bulk. All from the one screen. It also has a search box (amount or text). There is also the option to choose the list to display all transactions (reconciled & unreconciled) or unallocated transactions only (unreconciled). You can also isolate to just one bank account or all bank accounts in one list. It’s such a simple and very effective line by line layout.
I have a couple of Xero clients that would greatly benefit from one list showing all bank transactions (multiple bank accounts) on one screen.
I also find it handy to have one monitor open showing the “all bank transactions” and another monitor just with “unallocated transactions”, I can do a quick search to see how past entries have been coded. It’s a definite time saver. Xero is very forward thinking so I hope this becomes available in Xero in the future.

Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We appreciate you sharing how important accurate leave accruals are for managing payroll when employees work at different rates across various days or departments.
While we aren't able to add this to our roadmap right now, we want to make sure you are aware that it is currently possible to set up leave to accrue on more than one earnings rate.
As mentioned in this thread, the key is to set the Rate Type for these additional items to "Multiple of Employee's Ordinary Earnings Rate".
Please refer to our support article Set up overtime or earnings that accrue leave for a guide on how to do this. We'll keep this thread active for future feedback.

I am interested to know why Xero do it this way? It seems a long way around. In MYOB it’s a simple tick on each pay item if leave is to accrue.

Hi everyone, our product teams are continuously reviewing and reprioritising their roadmaps for future work and although we don’t have any plans to change the credit application process this year, this is something we will investigate more closely in 2026.
As we begin to explore work for enabling credit notes in the bill payments flow, we’ll reach out for input to help us shape the design and approach so we cater for the widest possible requirements. Thank you all, and we’ll be back to share when exploration starts.

Once the return is out to sign, it would be good to see it included in the % that are completed, makes sense.
