Purchase Orders - Include document attachments when emailing to supplier
Ability to include an attachment with an emailed Purchase Order
Purpose: Because there may be additional specifications or plans that need to be sent to the supplier through PO

Hi everyone, we thank you for your support on the idea here. We understand the needs of being able to attach documents when sending Purchase Orders, however we want to be transparent that this is not planned work at this time.
To begin, purchase orders need an update and this will be a focus for the team before enhancements like this can be considered. We will keep you updated of any related changes, here.

We would use this all of the time. Our suppliers require a form to be attached to each event and function order emailed to them.

This has been an issue for so many people for so long - we have the ability to add documents to email in other areas of Xero, I can't imagine it is too complicated to add this to the PO area.
While I'm here - the feature to add documents to the note section of an employee card would be wonderful too!!

Please action attachment to PO ASAP as the point of using Xero is accurate information on time. This is a failure by the developers as extra time taken to email the necessary information separately is counterproductive.

We use the Purchase Order to create our BC invoices regularly and need an attachment emailed with them This is not possible and ask for your consideration to rectify this

We use the Purchase Order system for Buyer Created Invoices and so we need to be able to send the attachment as documentation/proof of our calculations/weights/price etc

This is a really useful feature. Currently we are having to send the details seperately from all purchase orders so effectively this is creating extra work as we are having to do two steps instead of one.
