Hi everyone, we’ve begun rolling out improvements to the way you manage your online payment methods in Xero. It’s going to be a slow release so our team can closely monitor usage and ensure it’s working well with our customers – we’ll keep you updated on when it’s available to 100% of users.
To give you a taster of what’s coming, we’ve designed a new flow that allows you to easily set up and access differing payment methods to your customers when sending invoices.
You’ll have more control by being able to offer multiple payments services and customise the payment types you offer customers.

In the meantime three different payment services ( https://central.xero.com/s/article/About-payment-services ) can be added to an invoice template. These fall under the category credit/debit card, Paypal and bank payments. So you could add Stripe, Paypal and GoCardless to an invoice template branding theme but wouldn’t be able to add both Stripe and Square as these are both debit/credit card options.
Alternatively multiple invoice templates ( https://central.xero.com/s/article/Add-edit-or-delete-custom-invoice-quote-templates ) can be created with different payment services, this would help in some of the scenarios mentioned by a few users in the comments.
