Settings - Set default for 'Show [x] items per page'
Can the items per page be made an updateable default on all tabs? i.e. remember my setting until I change it again. So, on the contacts page I'd like to select 200 per page and have Xero remember that preference until I change it again.

It is very frustrating to have to keep changing to maximum items per page. every time you sign out of page
also causing issues on to be paid only allowing 200 items per page.
Can there be unlimited or at least 1,000 - or keep items selected when changing to another page. -

It would be great to have the option to display an unlimited amount of items for each contact, rather than have a limited amount listed where you have to constantly click back and forth between pages.
Although you can produce a report to this effect, it would streamline our processes to default to view all activity rather than "X" amount of lines per page.

This is a pet bugbear of mine - I set it to 200 then as soon as I leave the page it defaults back to 25. Even saving it for a session would be better than nothing!
But I guess since the original submission is nearly 2 years old, it ain't gonna happen! -

I agree - we should be able to set (and save) our own default settings:
I need 200 per page defaults and I need more companies in 'Change organisation'.- Xero is still pretty clunky.
And while I'm at it, Xero should have a Consolidation feature..... I have resorted to JOIIN ap, which is fantastic on report writing, balancing interCompany Loans and viewing all entities P&L and BS in one place.

This used to be a thing but they took it away. Please bring it back

how can we escalate this - so basic but would be so handy

Yes pls - agree with this.

We need to be able to see all transactions as it is so annoying to have to keep changing the view per page.

Agree with all the comments below. I have been waiting for years and have 6 different Xero files.

Oh please make this work properly - items per page 100 - every single time. Grrr

I agree with this. It's really annoying me now - I work with 10 Xero accounts at work and 2 freelance so I'm sure you will understand my frustration! Please allow us to have a default view for "all" transactions..........

Agreed. I'm starting to miss invoices in the hugh batches I always have to create because I 'select' all but it's reverted to only showing me 100 and I miss that last one or two on the next page. Very frustrating.

Why is this an "idea".. any why is this "idea" almost a year old? Surely not. its a basic issue

This needs to be added to ALL reports and pages as Xero has said they always default to the minimum amount of lines. Therefore it should be just as easy to set to default to the MAXIMUM amount of lines.
The new "Report preferences" should have this option. -

Please let us set our own Items per page defaults. The 100 transactions is pointless and annoying - likely set by a programmer who has never done any accounting work in their lives.

It's impractical to default it to 100 transactions per page, please default to 1000 or let us set our own defaults.
-
Dan Smith commented
Yes, I totally agree with this. I use the Account Transactions report a lot and it is tedious to have to change the number of transactions displayed from 100 to 1,000 every time.

Having to change from the default 50 to 200 every. single. time. with contacts is so frustrating. There are some things that I can understand not offering because it would take a lot of work to implement but, given that bank statements, invoices, and bills already remain at 200 once you've chosen that, I cannot get my head around why Xero will not fix this annoying aspect of Xero.
