Contact - Ability to delete notes
In the Notes section under Contacts, allow:
- specific notes to be pinned to the top of the list of notes:
- notes to be deleted
Hi community, I’m pleased to share that Additional Notes for a contact are now live to everyone!
As mentioned in my last response - You’ll find the feature available to use when adding or editing a Contact, at the bottom of the Contact details section.
You can edit the contact at any time to edit or delete text that you’ve entered in this field. Once saved, you’ll see the saved text shown in the right panel of a Contacts record.
To confirm, this does not apply to notes that are added to the History & Notes of a Contact. If you'd like the ability to edit and Delete notes we'd recommend using the additional notes option.

There should be an option to edit a note recorded in a contact profile as well. It is reasonable for Xero to restrict editing of automated notes, to maintain an accurate history of contact interactions, but this is not appropriate for manually entered notes that may contain errors.
I suggest that the current automated note entries be instead recorded in a separate history log and the notes section be made editable for users to enter useful client information.

Edit or delete notes in the history and notes section. We are currently able to add notes in this section, which can be used for adding documentation about the accounts, but there is no function to edit or delete notes. Please add the edit/delete function as there are often scenarios where the scenario has changed as you work through an engagement and therefore the documentation would need to be updated.
