Bills - Previous/next button to go straight to the next bill/invoice

being able to use a next/previous button to toggle through bills and invoices without using the main bill or invoice to find the next document. Be able to amend bill/invoices without missing any.

Good news team, quick view is out and this is now available to everyone. As you'll see from the bills list view there is now an eye icon that shows a right side preview of your bill when clicked. To simply move from one bill to the next use the arrows above your bill view. This makes it even simpler to take bulk action on multiple bills at once without having to open and review each individually.

    This would be very useful. I'm reviewing draft and approved bills before processing, as the people approving bills aren't always accurate when it comes to checking the allocated accounts, GST status, tracking categories, etc. It would be good to go through all bills one by one using previous/next buttons, rather than jumping back to the list of bills every time.

    Good for invoicing as well.

    I agree that previous/next button especially for invoicing would be very helpful, it would save from going back to the full invoice list and finding the next invoice.

    If you click into Bills to Pay, then Awaiting approval you have a list of invoices to approve. If you click into the invoice you can see the invoice and the details, at the bottom you have options, Approve / Approve & add another / Approve & Next.
    If you are happy you can approve and it takes you to the next invoice but if you are not ready to approve this invoice but want to carry on checking the other invoices there is no way to move to the next invoice without going back to the list of invoices. So ideally there wants to be a button, next without approving to take you to the next invoice.

    When looking to approve Purchase invoices and the next invoice is not ready to be approved could you add a button for "next without approve"

    Add the ability to scroll through invoices (previous & next button) when viewing an invoice. This saves going back to the full invoice list and finding the next invoice. This would be useful if you're issuing several invoices that have been approved.

    I found it convenient in my last accounting program to be able to click through to the next or previous item on a regular basis

    Hello Kelly,

    When I first joined Xero I wasn't aware of the chart of accounts. So I just created bills and invoices without classifying them correctly.
    Since then I have started an online course learning about the platform. So when I wrote this message, I was going through all the invoices and bill payments to classify them correct, but I found myself wanting a next and back button to help me navigate this task more easily.
    Im not sure if it is still as necessary but it would be nice to have a next and back button to toggle through the invoices, bills, po's, expense claims in all the aspects of each category or just the draft or awaiting approval.
    For example, in bills you have all, draft, awaiting approval, awaiting payment, paid and repeating. Within each of these tabs, having a next and back tab, next will take you to the next bill in the list and back will take back to the page where you can see all the bills with the tabs.

    I hope this makes sense.
