Xero Projects - Custom report builder
Ability to be able to create your own custom project report in Projects. For example being able to create a report using the fields in both the Project Details report and the Project Financials report.
Also the ability to ability to amend the current reports in the format you want and then to save them to customs reports as you can do with other reporting.

We need to be able to see tax on project reports, so we would appreciate the ability to create our own custom reports with the information we need to see without any restrictions.

Yes, PLEASE include Projects in financial reports (filters, "group by", columns, ...) because in the Construction industry there is retainage withheld on projects and we need to be able to track this

We longer have the functionality to create the reports we require for our project reporting. Currently we are unable to utilise our project information as required.
Is this possible to bring the old project summary report back? -

It would be beneficial to add to the custom report a way to report what date a project in Xero Project changed status from Draft to In Progress to Closed.
To find this information now, we are having to go through each project individually to check time entries on when a project went from Draft to In Progress for example. Thank you -

The Project Detail report is used to send to clients, so the current headings Xero uses on the Project Detail Report are not relevant. Please update the Project Detail Report to allow us to customize headings etc.

All the other reports have the function to create a custom report, why not these ones?!
Bit odd. We could with the old version on Project Details.

It takes quite some time to set up a project report that you are able to use repeatedly. We had this function in Old Reports. Why would you substitute something that is inferior? Please do not remove the old version of this report!

This is critical and surely this cannot be a difficult update, even giving us the option to change the layout and columns of the current reports without them defaulting back would be an advantage.
Its been nearly 6 months Xero. surely this will be forthcoming very soon?

plesae add ability to add columns in the default Projects "in-progress" screen and print the screen to PDF.
show % status bar for both Project estimate (income) instead of just Project estimate spent.

I think it is critical as most of our clients are requesting a type of profit and loss per project. Where it shows the difference between your estimated and actual cost. This will also allow you to view how much cost still needs to be invoices etc.
