Account Transactions report - Include project column
Would it be possible to add Project Codes as a selectable column in the Account Transactions report? We would find this most useful as it would save time.

For more than 3 years I have paid for my Projects app, which is a lot of money. I EXPECT to be able to run this report showing account transactions with project code assignments. XERO please urgently sort this out and prioritise it. This is costing my business lots and I am getting angry about it.

Can't believe this is still not available. I'm currently working on preparing everything for my year end accounts and me and my team are spending literally hours working on this because we can't select a field when the data is already there! This is essential for our work and we pay such a premium for the Projects app. XERO please sort ASAP

This would be so much help! Has anyone found a way to view transactions not linked to a project?

We need this in order to reconcile our projects.
We are a DMC and have to use these projects to create our sales and use the projects tax so see what is vatable and not vatable in line with the Tourism Vat act .
Please assist urgently, as this will make life so much better !!!

yes, and we need to be able to group by and filter by project.

Agree. I'm surprised this isn't already included with such a versatile report.

this would be very beneficial. Especially, when reconciling project ledger to the GL

This functionality would make the Projects module so much more useful. Without it there is very little benefit for me.

This is really important - we have just started using projects and I find it ludicrous that a general ledger report or a full nominal ledger report does not show that it has been allocated to a project. This makes month end tedious as I have to manually go through the entire nominal ledger and double check the costs have been allocated correctly. Makes the whole project accounting process far longer than it needs to be. Come on XERO sort this out!!!

Ability to see all the necessary data linked to Xero transactions would be an integral part in efficiently supporting our clients.

This would be a massive help to our workflow and solve problems many of our clients are experiencing in being able to audit what transactions have not been assigned to a project to be collected as a billable expense.

extremely important for checks and balances

This is a 100% must have.
In order for the module to be audited meaningfully, we must be able to see what items/expenses/transactions have NOT been attributed to a Project.

I can't believed this is not possible yet, we have been asking for it for years. It would make the Projects feature useful.

Yes please Xero! This is super important and 110% necessary!

This would save me eight hours per week. Critical.

Other than looking at every transaction posted it is impossible to find where an expense or income item has not been allocated to a project. We export from projects for other reporting and find it difficult to locate where the projects total does not match to the general ledger expenses and income.

This is a critical element and almost makes the cost of paying for the project function obsolete. Each month I spend days ensuring everything has been allocated. I must be able to add Project Name as a column to Account Transactions report. I know we can now see any bills which haven't been assigned and this is helpful. But also, when will we see the invoices which haven't been assigned. This is essential too. Please, please, please prioritise this.
Editing this to hopefully bring this back to the top of the list. It is absolutely essential to be able to see project codes in the account transaction report. Xero support - please action as a priority.

Report on nominal accounts by project:
When using Profit and Loss or Account Transaction reports, you cannot add a project column for analysis.
When using Project financials, you cannot analyse by the nominal account.
Therefore you cannot currently analyse a nominal by project.
