Automate 'send me a copy' on invoices.
Have the option to automatically select 'send me a copy' ticked when creating invoices/repeating invoices.

This is a really simple but important feature. As I use this so I have a record & can easily forward copies to my colleagues when doing clients bookkeeping & year end accounts.
OR if a client says they never recevied an invoice I can resend the email with the invoice to them with the orgibnsal sent details.I know a lot of our clients use this feature too.
Please add this to the new invoicing

Why was this feature removed? This is asinine. I'm switching back to classic invoicing until this is resolved. This is a key feature I use to track communications with clients. It also creates a documentation trail which I require for contracts.

PLEASE reinstate this. I can't understand why it has been omitted from the new invoicing format. Like others, I have tried the new format but have gone back to the old one, hoping that this can be resolved before you discontinue the old invoicing format.

This was already automatically selected (remembered ) in the old the invoice system .

don't like the new invoice system at all, its far less efficient. more buttons to select, and where do I find the "send copy to me option"?

Searching how I can set the "send me a copy" as a default so I don't have to try and remember to tick this box every invoice. Are you kidding that this can't be changed in the default settings.
Some parts of the new invoicing are good - but I prefer the old version. I seem to be clicking on a lot of extra boxes to do the simple tasks with the new version. Xero - you have not won me over.

Please put this default back into the invoicing. I sent 20+ invoices at a time. It's unlikely I will remember to select "send to myself" 20+ times in a morning. Especially since I've not had to do this before.
I also much prefer the classic layout. I wanted to like the new layout, but I don't love it.

I understand Xero are trying to make invoicing easy and visible for the plumber on the go using their tablet and pudgy fingers.
But a great many of us have 24-36" screens and sit at a desk either in stand-alone finance roles, or as business partners for the tradie/small business person.
As the finance partners that help a business make decisions, Xero may wish to develop "new" invoicing for the mobile users, and maintain "classic" for those of us that suffer RSI from the data entry. -

I don't see how the new version saves time. I prefer the layout of the classic invoice screen. -

Just started using the 'NEW' invoicing, looks **** and why can we not have the ability to default to sending a copy of the invoice to myself, clicking the tickbox is not a great idea, often it gets missed!
Also can we not just have a button next to the Print PDF button for the email option....? Why do we have to find the right menu to select email?

This should be available in the invoice settings. C'mon Xero, it shouldn't be that hard.

And while they are there, if they can please put the "email/send" option not in the drop down box, then go down and select it. Takes too long!
The new screen is like watching tennis just to read it onscreen.
They just put huge gaps in between the column's!These change is not beneficial and more time consuming sorry.

I cannot see how the New invoicing is better than the Classic invoices. It certainly doesn't save me time. Having to remember to click 'send me a copy' for each invoice is a pain.

How was this overlooked when setting up the "New Invoicing" interface? In "Classic" it remembers your selection for both "send me a copy" and "include files with invoice" if we attach files.This should be standard in "New Invoicing" too.

The new invoicing screen is not good, I've gone back to the classic invoice until Sept at least.
Why remove the automated 'send me a copy'?
Why do Xero's 'improvements' generally seem to be a step backward? -

Why can't we default a copy of all invoices to ourselves any more. This should be an option. It can't be too hard to add.
