Purchase Orders - Import from an Excel file
Can we add a function to import purchase order from excel file? We have had it as import bill already, but it is not enough because we need to use the PO function in Xero. However, it is time consuming and many mistakes due to manually entering our PO. It would be great if we can import from excel for both bill and PO function.

Can't understand why this is not available already. You can bulk import a list of products/items yet cannot import from that list to a PO. It is too time consuming entering product codes and checking each line item. Agree that importing a csv would be great.

This is a massive feature that needs to be added. We need the ability to upload POs so we can cross-reference them to invoices while they are being approved. This will also help Xero improve its cash flow forecasting features.
Can we have an update from Xero on their plans to add this feature? Due to this, people are increasingly moving to other software.

So we can import invoices and bills but not POs... Extremely frustrating! Why couldn't this feature be built in using the same/similar code that is used for importing invoices and bills?

Is this feature being added? Very important to me as customers can send a POof 100 parts on an excel spreadsheet and typing them all in is very time consuming as I have to raise PO to distribution office first.

I'm not sure how other businesses work, but my workflow starts with a PO, then moves to adding bills, then moves to invoicing my customers. How can it be that I can add a bill via Excel upload, but not a PO? A solution to this would be very much appreciated.

Yes, I would like to implement this too. I have been looking at third party apps but can’t find anything.
