UK/AU Payroll - Option to select/deselect 'Other Previous Earnings' feature on payslips
Remove the feature of 'Other Previous Earnings', or an option of allowing us to choose whether to have this feature. Grouping all previous pay items into 'Other Previous Earnings' in the same financial year is confusing and our employees won't understand what it is for. Please get rid of it!

Agreed, please make this happen Xero. So much time wasted running separate reports for employees to explain where these values come from. Also how to explain the value can go down from one pay slip to the next?

AU currently require an option to de-select this feature under payrol settings (preferred option) or employee pay template.
"Other previous earnings" showing on payslips is creating issues for our employees. -

Yes, it is very confusing for our Employees as well, can it be broken down or got rid of and can we get a Report to say what these are? and how do we find the "Other earnings"

just noticed this for 1st time checking a leavers draft payslip. how do I find where the breakdown is for this description to explain to the employees

This new feature introduced by Xero is not helpful - now when looking at payslips, we don't know what the other earnings are, and have to run other reports to get the information.... but employees can't run those reports, so they are completely in the dark!!

I've just encountered this on May payroll and, being in England, the tax year has just started so I can at least compare to April payslips to understand what it is. But I can see how more confusing it will be for employees further into the year when they just want to see a clear breakdown of YTD Earnings. Please remove this from payslips!!!

Please remove an 'Other previous earnings' line on payslips. It is confusing and employees want to see clearly what they received during a year e.g. how much bonus they were paid etc.

Centerlink has asked my employee what it is..... trying to explain it to him is difficult.
