Batch payments of Foreign Currency Bills.

Dear Xero,
Please consider the feature of being able to batch up foreign currency Bills. We often pay multiple invoices in one go, having to reconcile and mark as paid 10 invoices is extremely time consuming.

Hi team, appreciate wanting an update - I'm pleased to share the beta went well and we've now launched international bill payments for our UK customers, making it easier to pay overseas suppliers.

Using open banking, UK businesses can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don't have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, you can authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid.

We’re committed to new ways to expand our bill payments feature for small businesses and their advisors in other regions by leveraging new technologies, where available. I'll keep you updated of any further developments for this, here.

    Without this feature, it kind of makes using Xero useless when you have foreign suppliers.

    For years, this has been requested but it seems all Xero is interested in is looks. Making the reports look better, making the appearance of existing functions look nicer... don't hold your breath.... I've had several clients leave Xero because of this functionality missing. This is not a new software and if you are going to offer multi currency, it should have ALL the features available for multi currency too.

    It is crazy that we cant send a professional remittance advice to our suppliers from the system. Even if a bank import file is not generated, at least the ability to group some transactions, mark as paid and send a remittance advice. Currently have to type this up on outlook at send

    We make large amounts of batch FX payments, and operate in multiple currencies. This functionality would make no end of difference to our business, and the operation of the finance department on a day to day basis

    This would be a big deal for us, we sometimes have multiple payments to foreign suppliers and having to seperately mark each one as paid and send individual remittances is causing problems with payments being allocated incorrectly.

    This seems like such a basic tool, especially when working with both GBP and Euro bank accounts.

    Clients paying for multi-currency xero and it doesn't have the basic feature of batch payments for other currency. Come on xero! Looking at the list of frustrated users, isn't it time to sort this out?

    Multicurrency software should be able to produce:

    1. Batch remittances for foreign currency, same as exists with base currency.

    2. Aged debtors and creditors reports in the currency in which the bills/invoices were created.

    Not sure why XERO can't provide this, and why you need users to "share and support ideas for change" or to make a special requests for a basic level of functionality which should have existed by default.

    We signed up to the XERO multicurrency software in 2017, almost 7 years ago, and if this functionality did not exist then, what are the chances of this being included within this year - 2024?

    Without this feature Xero is not a viable option and we are going to be looking at alternative software providers.

    As I can see from the previous comments it is an issue which most of us are experienced from . Most of the companies today using different currencies and converting currencies every single day so please Xero support listen to people who are in the business.

    Another basic feature which Xero doesn't have in 2023, not having this feature makes our processes for foreign currency bills very complicated.
