Bills - Disable Make Payment Button
Your new "Make Payment" button and the Action column can not be removed/disabled in the Bills view. It is repetitive, distracting, and disruptive to my normal workflow.
I would appreciate it if Xero did not diminish my user experience as a paying customer in order to promote a new service it is offering.

In the Bills awaiting payment I want to remove the "Action" column, showing the
"Make Payment" button but this has been greyed out in the column choices, meaning I can't!This is something that as a third party add on, is being controversially pushed to purchase with in the invoices systems, and now in the bills sections.
If as an organisation do not we wish to use this, who are Xero to force it to be seen our our accounting records?
It gets in the way of an already busy screen, takes up unnecessary space, and wo betide if you click it accidentally!Allow me - who pays your fees to option to remove anything/everything that is not relevant to our business. This is nothing more than forced advertising, any other website I could report as being spam!

I agree with everyone— the Action Column should be optional, not a fixed feature.
If I’m using a fully integrated bill payment solution (i.e., a different app) and not Xero’s “Powered by BILL” system, I should have the ability to disable the Action Column entirely, or at least have the option to assign a custom link to the button so it serves our workflow.
I also want to avoid the risk of clients or users unintentionally activating Xero’s Bill Pay, which can be a real hassle to disconnect once enabled. That’s a very real possibility if they click “Make a Payment,” since it currently leads them straight into the setup process for Xero Bill Pay.

This is extremely annoying to me as well. I am getting fed up with Xero imposing all their new payment ideas on us their paying customers. I am sure it is only another way for them to make money out of us, and I am sick of it. Hubdoc is another annoying pop up and then in the new invoice layout there is another box suggesting customers use other ways to pay. Sorry, I want my clients to pay me via bank transfer and no other way, otherwise it will cost me.
Xero for goodness sake listen to your customers!

It's also incredibly frustrating that it applies this to all bills awaiting payment, regardless of whether they are paid manually or by Direct Debit.
If we can't have the ability to disable the "Action" column, can you please add a way to mark which bills are paid by direct debit, so as to remove the glaring Make Payment button.
Currently we add the prefix DD in the reference field of each bill to stop bills being paid twice, however, we cannot sort by this column, which would be helpful.
