  2. I generate invoices from the Xero app. Quick and easy. I would like to generate a receipt from my iPhone app as well after a customer has paid. At present you can only do this via the website.

  3. To be able to Assign & invoice a billing client within blue Xero. It’s not unusual to have a central billing agency looking after subsidiaries accounts so the ability to bill the agency while having the subsidiary with thin your system to raise the invoice against would work well.

  5. Entering multiple payments to an Invoice in Xero. Currently it exits the invoice when you enter a part payment in the payment section. I often want to enter several payments for cash received and card payment received on several days and have to keep going back into the invoice for each payment.

  6. When purchasing product from clients we issue them with a hand-written Buyer Created Invoice on farm & then need to input this into Xero as a bill payment. But this doesn't show that it was a buyer created invoice. Please can this option be added

  7. Include the payment dates and payments made when sending invoices to clients.
    Currently once the invoice is downloaded or sent to client, it shows the total amount paid, but not broken down by date as per the screen shot i have attached. Currently it only shows «InvoiceTotalNetPayments»

  8. If you send an Invoice per mail to a client, a credit note that is linked to the invoice should be attached to the mail with the invoice too.
    Currently, you have to send two separate mails.
    If you send an invoice, you have several check boxes like "add invoice as pdf". There should be the option "add credit not as pdf".

  10. Bill Due Date

    At the moment the due date can't be set as prior to the bill's actual date. We self-bill a lot of customers on a monthly basis, but pay them on 27th or the last working day before then. We would like to set the bill date to the last day of the month, but can't.

  11. In the Files area, there are some that you do not know of until you opened them, and upon seeing them, it's not needed for the business. You have to close the file, either select the checkbox then delete, or the option button on the right to delete. Can you add a Delete function upon opening the file so we don't have to click close just to delete unwanted files? Thank you!.

  12. Project invoicing to show time in minutes/hours for time entries
    This is a requirement of many of our customers. Eg time sent 30 mins shows as 0.5 on invoice. We need a column that shows time for the task time enry. At present we need to manually type 30 mins in the task description to meet customer invoicing requirements.

Simply the ability to create Recurring Purchase Orders (similar to the recurring purchase invoice) to select from so that information is prefilled ready to go for suppliers that we regularly purchase the same items from. Or you can use this as a template and add to or from with any other items as required.

  15. I often take part-payments against customer invoices in Xero. But, when I use the app, the full sales invoice amount appears rather than the remaining balance. The app should show the remaining balance on sales invoices - when viewing the list of unpaid invoices.

  16. The inability to attach credit notes from a batch is becoming increasingly problematic. To clarify: multiple credit notes sent from suppliers under 1 PDF - there isn't the capability to transfer these into a separate folder and then attach each PDF multiple times when creating a credit note from a supplier. As soon as it is attached once it disappears! I have had multiple occasions where there are numerous credits in one PDF and am having to write all but one down in longhand so I can then create the Credits. There is not the function to attach these to…

  17. Declined quotes to appear in the activity list of a contact - At the moment they do not and the only way to determine if a quote was raised previously is through a search through quotes.

    Since it is an activity linked to a contact, fruitful or not, this should be linked to activity list of the contact.

You have marked the idea at "Profit & Loss - Filter Tracking Report by second tracking category" (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/45050152-profit-loss-filter-tracking-report-by-second-t) as delivered and closed the comments, but unfortunately it's a terrible implementation, and you could really benefit by hearing comments from your customers on it.

    It allows the user to filter the data, and then to choose the columns it will appear in by selecting tracking category items for columns. However if I want to change the filter criteria I have to undo the column choices, then edit the filter criteria, and then recreate the columns.

  20. Currently when you hit approve on an expense it takes you back to the To Review list. This trip back to where I started adds unnecessary clicks and load times. It would be faster if there was an Approve and View Next option, the same way there is when working through draft bills.
