Filter Fixed Assets By Asset Type
It would be great to be able to filter the fixed asset list by the various categories but especially by asset type.
For example, I have 500 assets and am trying to pick out just the Office Equipment to dispose of 30 assets, but I am having to search for each individual asset rather than just look at a list of the Office Equipment.4 votesHi Laurinda, thanks for your idea here. Having a read this sounds quite similar to the idea across here asking for the ability to search by serial #.

Quotes - Only display the Item Code and Name when searching
In the old quote version, when adding an item it would search just by the item code which was great.
Now it searches and displays even in the item description, so now end up with a big list to scroll through with description also showing, and especially as the font is bigger.
Any chance this can be looked into and item search just looks at item code/name, without searching and displaying description,?

Xero Accounting app - Bank Feed Notifications for Yodlee feeds
The mobile app’s new transaction notifications are Bank dependent. Why? You have to write code for every individual bank in the world just so the app will notify a user that a new transaction needs to be reconciled? Rewrite the code so this works automatically for everyone. It’s crazy the way you have it now.

GST - Filter by tracking to report on multiple branches from a single org
Per the attached screenshot, we are utilising tracking categories to track income and expenditure for two branches of a business with one ABN. Most of the reports can be filtered between tracking categories. I can see no reason that the GST reports should not be able to be filtered by tracking category, or even the Activity Statement report. We should be able to expect this filtering for ABN branches.

Bank rule - Use a four digit decimal tax rate
Would like to add add decimals (up to 4) in the bank rule feature for the tax rates (otherwise I need to manually change all the amount of my reconciliations which is time consuming).
For instance at the moment we can input 102.15% but not 102.1451% which is what I would like to have.

Bank Feeds - Automate imports for Philippine banks
There are a lot of businesses in The Philippines that would benefit from bank feeds. Even if you cover BPI, BDO and Union Bank I’m sure they would fund the development costs.
This combined with BIR accreditation would see XERO as the leading accounting product in a country of over 110 million people.

Also to help community members understand exactly what they're supporting, as well as share these back internally with our teams it's best to keep one idea per thread - I've updated the idea here for Bank Feeds for Philippines and we can make this even clearer if you confirm which banks.
For reporting and BIR compliance I see another user has started an idea across here you can also support.🙂

UK Payroll - Show full salary and YTD earnings
Before the update there were two greyed out boxes, when hovered over revealed the employee full salary and earnings to date - this was very handy when the salaries are based on an hourly rate. Where has this function gone? and can we have it back please.

Inventory Item Summary report - Select all in a filter
In the Inventory Item Summary report I can customise the report by adding a filter & then searching for a stock item eg a spigot - but there are 100 different types of spigots, & each of them need to be selected individually!!! can we please have a "select all" button???

Projects | Ability to mark task as Invoiced
Have all tasks automatically marked as invoiced (preferably with invoice number) when they have varying hourly rates and times set within the task. Also ability to mark any task manually as invoiced and assign an invoice number if required.

Xero Accounting app - Notification when quote accepted
when a customer accepts a quotation it would be nice to get a notification in the app so that i know earlier that the quote has been accepted rather than finding the email in my junk mail sometimes up to a week later.....

User Roles - Invoice Only: Ability to see balances of supplier accounts
An employee is in charge of paying our foreign supplier accounts. So we gave him the role "Invoice only (Approve and Pay). Unfortunately, he is not able to see a full statement of the supplier account with all invoices, credit notes and payments made so he does not know how much is owed. He is also unable to enter payments against a supplier without an invoice already existing in Xero, which is an issue when making payments to suppliers who require payment in advance. Bank report - Date last reconciled
Can we have a report showing the last date of bank reconciliation completed for clients?
This would be beneficial for me, listed by clients but also for the client.
3 votesHi Renu, you could run the History & Notes to see the last date of reconciliation in an org. If you search for 'reconciled ' this'll help you zone into the action if there's a lot of activity - See my image below.
Alternatively, you may find the Assurance dashboard useful where you can get a view of user activity and Bank Account activity.

Profit and Loss report - Show related expenses
It would be great if you were able to report a P & L by customer which shows income and related expenses (as allocated in Dext to a tracking category) in the P & L. This feature is available in Quickbooks but following a recent client move to Xero it is not possible to use in Xero.

Reporting - 'Select all' option on the Account Transactions Report when Search is used
It would be great if when you use the search field to search for a name/description, if there was an option to 'select all' of the searched items. I often search for a description and then have 10-15 account codes I want to view, but i have to tick them all individually. A select all button would be amazing!
There is already a select all / deselect all option but only when there is no description searched.11 votes -
Sales Invoices - Automatic Invoicing Date options
For when creating an re-occuring invoice, there is occasions, where invoices must be sent at specific times of the month, for example...
- Last Day of the month
- Every 2nd Tuesday
- Last Thursday of the month
The reason behind this, is because some companies who you are invoicing operate specific payment cycles, and in order for a small business to get paid within the terms of their invoice ( Late Payment Act 1998 & your own article on [ https://www.xero.com/uk/guides/invoice-payment-terms/ ] - Payments terms are getting shorter )
More tools we Small businesses have, there better equipped we are in order…

Bank Reconciliation - Discuss tab show name of user
Add user name in discuss tab on reconciliation transaction.
Currently when discussing a transaction with another user then may have to add initials before comment to identify who said what, would be great if this was added automatically so you can easily see the thread of discussion

AU Payroll - Report to Breakdown annual leave and leave loading
Can we please have a report that will breakdown annual leave and leave loading. When there is a lot of employees that take leave for a quarter is time consuming to have to drill down into each employee to work out the leave loading to ensure that the SGC amount is reconciled.

Organisation Details - Add Instagram organisation field
As an Xero customer, I would like to be able to add Instagram as a contact field within organisation details, so that I can easily direct customers to my Instagram page.
Instagram is becoming more popular than facebook, twitter and websites for certain industries.
